Ok, this is not hard to understand, and you are misrepresenting what I wrote. Here is the First Amendment: Can we agree this entire Amendment does NOT deal strictly with religion? Only the first phrase deals with RELIGION: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"

But how did they do that? They locked down all businesses. They prevented gatherings in all places, not just religious. If they only closed down churches but no other businesses, then you might have a case. But the First Amendment text on "right of the people peaceably to assemble" is not restricted to churches, but applies to any assemblies. This is why cases are often lost at this level. It is not that the actions were wrong, but you have to litigate according to the law. The lockdowns were unconstitutional period. Not just unconstitutional for churches based on religious discrimination. And as I wrote previously, what they shut down were businesses. The true church can never be shut down, because you cannot shut down the Kingdom of God. Another COVID Small Business Casualty: The American Christian Church

There's an easy way to deal with the few violent criminals that are being released. Trump should use his emergency "war" power's act and declare Constitutional Carry the law of the land, since he already deemed gun stores "essential businesses." Pro 2nd Amendment Sheriffs could then deputize all law abiding citizens as well. Problem solved. I bet 99% of the prisoners released didn't belong there in the first place. Like this Amish farmer who was just released and was serving 6 year sentence for selling non-FDA approved salves and ointments.

Precisely. One can practice a religion without walking into a church building. What is protected under the 1st Amendment is: And that is for ALL people, not just religious people. But Trump/Pence now seem to want to restrict another part of the First Amendment:

Where's the religious discrimination? How is it different from schools and other non-religious gatherings that were also banned?

I don't think so. Other states have challenged the authority to lockdown and have won (like Wisconsin). People in Wisconsin can now go to church, just as easily as they can go to their Taverns.

It was litigated wrong, in my opinion. The lockdowns are Unconstitutional period, and there is no definable religious prejudice here, as it is applied to all "non-essential" businesses and churches are not singled out on the basis of their religious beliefs. This is the key in the ruling: THAT'S what need to be challenged and ligated. It needs to be shown that this no worse than a serious flu bug, and these measures were not warranted across the board for everyone in the population (maybe just nursing homes and elderly care.) There is no religious discrimination here, so the ruling is basically correct based on this erroneous assumption, which apparently was never challenged.

Where You Can Buy Hertz Cars At Huge Discounts After 102 years of operation, Hertz is now bankrupt and with $25 billion in debt, it just made the list of the 25 biggest bankruptcies in history. And with creditors now looking for creative ways to recover as much of their investment as possible, the Hertz fleet of just over 506,000 vehicles is a hot commodity for what's left of the company. Of course, Hertz already tried selling enough cars to stay afloat previously, and it didn’t work. In early March Hertz sold 41,000 used cars in the U.S., but pumped the brakes as returns shrank and auto auctions stopped as traffic fell off a cliff. Used car prices then fell 34.4% in April, and with a ton of new inventory on the market will likely push prices down even more, making it extremely difficult for Hertz to climb out of the hole it is in according to Jalopnik. Well maybe not: after all, everything can be sold if the price is low enough, and it appears that Hertz is finally realizing that is has no choice but to drastically slash prices on its fleet sales, and will continue to do until it finds a clearing price since we doubt the Fed will step in and buy these cars any time soon.

Oh, I agree. I am just trying to understand how personalities like this get such a large following. I mean, who has time to watch 2-3 hours of a talking head every day like this? He said that he interviewed Peter Hoetz on vaccines, one of the biggest industry insider shills who would never dare to debate a real doctor who knows how to think and would expose the vaccine fraud, so his audience would then probably line up ASAP to get the COVID vaccine when it comes out.

I've known Joel Satatin and his farming philosophies for probably close to 20 years now. I watched about half of this. I don't get the popularity of this Joe Rogan. I mean, it doesn't take much effort, honestly, to sit behind a microphone and just shoot the breeze every day. I don't know what is in the second hour, but the first hour could have been edited down to about 20 minutes, or less, and communicate what was actually communicated. I think these independent content producers who spend the time on post production to get their videos down to smaller segments are far more talented, in my opinion. The one that was posted here yesterday of reallygraceful, and her 3 shows on the history of Bill Gates, each segment about 15 minutes or less, is phenomenal!

Exactly. I have worked in ecommerce for years, and this is the most time consuming part. But I guess if you have those resources already in place, it is feasible. I wonder who they grabbed for the model? Maybe an employee?

But a couple of hours? They need to secure a supply of t-shirts, have them printed, and get them into a warehouse to be ready to ship, and then do the photographing and artwork to get them online. I went and put one into the site shopping cart, and there was no notice that these were on order and not shipping yet....

I have heard of it, but not looked into it much. I heard it was a very small percentage, and am wondering if this has been happening for a quite a long time but is now being highlighted at this time to condition people to include children, whom everyone admits have very small risk of getting COVID-19, with the coming COVID vaccine. They need fear to promote their products, and children are a HUGE market for vaccines.

The Trump campaign has launched a new “You Ain’t Black” t-shirt mocking former Vice President Joe Biden’s explosive comment that African Americans who don’t vote for him “ain’t black.” The shirt was launched just hours after Biden made the comment while appearing on the Breakfast Club radio show. Same way as they did in 2016, and this year. He was so far ahead of Biden early on in the primaries, everyone could see it. They puffed up Biden instead, for reasons that are yet to be seen. He was also way more popular than Hillary. I'm guessing he's not a "team player."

I predict Dershowitz will completely back off of his position on this, especially if he sits down and has a one on one conversation with Bobby Kennedy, who is his friend. He is already backing off of some of this. Check out this interview with Del Bigtree.

What does the libertarian position have to do with anything when discussing Trump? Trump has changed his position on this, if you remember correctly. He originally announced that he had ultimate authority over the States, and had Pence come up in what was clearly a planned response, explaining that these were "extraordinary times" that called for "extraordinary measures," and took the position that due to the various emergency power acts, all passed since 911, that Trump did, indeed, have authority over the states during this "war" against the virus. Then when it became more advantageous to him, he switched his position and started blaming everything on the states and saying he was not going to interfere because of "state rights." You mean like they've already done? That's been tried, and it doesn't work, because he has the Senate. Any moves to try and impeach him again will actually work in his favor as the public will not buy it. Trump will start seeing his "victories," for sure, in Russiagate. It looks like they're going after Obama, but don't expect to see him behind bars over this.

No, you're setting up straw men to knock down again and claiming I think things that I certainly do not think. You are wrong to keep thinking Trump is against the "deep state." The "deep state" is not a cohesive unit. They have their factions like everywhere else. Do you really think Trump could have been elected without the help of the "deep state"? Do you honestly believe anyone in America today can become a Billionaire and not kiss ass to the global banking cartel that runs everything? We had hoped some of those things were behind him, but his true colors are coming out now. The "deep state" wants you to believe there is a "good side" and a "bad side," which is why they only allow a 2-party system in the U.S.

Like what? I went to bed one night in the USA and woke up the next morning, and it had turned into Communist China. And this happened under Trump's watch. This is the worst shape this country has ever been in during my lifetime. Wake up Swordsmyth. The charade is over.

Trump is President of the United States and he has a Republican controlled Senate. If he had wanted him appointed, he would have gotten it done. Trump has been president for over 3 years now, and things are getting worse, not better. I am the same as I have always been. I follow the truth, not politicians or political parties. Trump deserves all the criticism he is getting now from those who trusted him in the beginning that he was going to change things.
