As your Representative in Congress, I have never missed a vote. You elected me to represent you. That means I study the bills and vote every time.

It is also my duty as your Congressman to keep you informed of how I am voting. I post all of my votes with a brief explanation of why I voted as I did on Facebook. One of my colleagues from another state recently shared that his constituents have asked him, "Why don't you keep us informed like Congressman Amash does?" It seems that citizens all over the country are using my Facebook postings to stay informed!

If I achieve anything in Congress (and I hope to do much on your behalf), I want to change the way things are done. I want to make government transparent and accountable to you. The American government should not be run to please special interests. But I need the support of citizens to make this happen.
