Under federal supremacy, the actions of our general government is superior to those of the individual state governments—that is respective to its constitutional authority and proper context—thereby the federal government has first-call on the imposition of all forms of taxes and taxation, which at present is commonly accomplished through stoppage at the source (i.e., W-4 withholdings and was initially referenced as being a “forced-loan” within Congressional Reports while debating for this tactic back in the 1940’).

So although one may earn $50,000 a year (for example), at least on paper, that individual is first taxed by around $6,000-8,000 by the federal government and thereafter are again taxed by about another $1,000-$2,000 by their state of residence, effectively affording ...

I thought it would be nice to post this; it is a poem my wife had written sometime around 2007. She recently happened across it, forgotten about inside one of the notebooks she was using while working toward an AAS degree.

    A Real Hero

With relentless force and wisdom, you raise your voice against the enemy

Strong and steady, like a robust oak, you confront the winds and storms of dirty politics

    Righteous man that inspires action!
    Noble in your endeavors
    Just in your works

Journeying through this beautiful, yet horrible world, your head high stands free of corruption and deceit

A kind heart is your flag

    The Constitution is your creed

    God is your

Project to Repeal Gun Free School Zones and Bear Arms and Armor

I would like to start a project with the intent of crafting a strong case to either strictly limit or repeal the GFSZA and to direct Congress that they lack Constitutional authority to place blatant prohibitions against “civilians” from possessing firearms, ammunition, or ballistic armor.

To first provide a bit of background, initially, the GFSZA was initially overturned by United States v. Lopez, 514 U.S. 549 (1995), only to reemerge in 1997 due to the sweet (yet ill-conceived) word play afforded by the Commerce Clause. Its key players include Joseph Biden and Janet Reno. Dr. Ron Paul made an attempt within his H. R. 2613 (2011) to repeal the Act, which was left to die, unfortunately.

Campaign for Liberty Political Leadership School

My wife and I attended this class yesterday in Fresno, CA. It was instructed by Shawn Dow (with Campaign for Liberty, Arizona), the class was absolutely amazing and informative; it is well worth attending whenever it comes by your area. Mr. Dow is a phenomenal, energetic political academician.

In the meantime, the slides are available online at: http://training4liberty.org/facl2/slides-shawn.htm

This is not a class on political philosophy or ideas. This is practical, no nonsense and tested information on how to be effective in politics.

    This intense one-day training covers:

The Real Nature of Politics - why just "educating" people alone won't result

Nineteen-month-old Bou Bou Phonesavanh is the latest casualty of America’s militarizing police forces.

One early morning in late May, the Habersham County Special Response Team conducted a predawn raid on a home near Cornelia, Georgia. After breaking down the door, one of the officers threw a flashbang grenade into the home. The grenade, of a type originally developed for British special operations forces to temporarily blind and confuse the enemy, landed in the toddler’s crib and exploded. In horror, Bou Bou’s parents could only listen to his cries. When his mother pleaded with one of the officers to let her go to him, members of the team screamed at her and told her he was fine, saying he had just lost a tooth.

Bou Bou Phonesavanh spent three weeks in a medically induced coma with severe burns and a hole in his chest. He was taken out of the coma this week, but the hole hasn’t healed. The SWAT team that threw the grenade into Bou Bou’s crib weren’t on the scene because Bou Bou, his parents, or anyone else in the house were in danger or dangerous. No, the police had deployed a SWAT team to look for a man they suspected of selling $50 worth of drugs, who did not even live in the home.

They didn’t find him. They didn’t find any guns or drugs in the house, either.
