    From Judge Roberts:

"Although the policy arguments for extending marriage to same-sex couples may be compelling, the legal arguments for requiring such an extension are not. The fundamental right to marry does not include a right to make a State change its definition of marriage. And a State’s decision to maintain the meaning of marriage that has persisted in every culture throughout human history can hardly be called irrational. In short, our Constitution does not enact any one theory of marriage. The people of a State are free to expand marriage to include same-sex couples, or to retain the historic definition. Today, however, the Court takes the extraordinary step of ordering every State to license and recognize same-sex marriage. Many people will rejoice at this decision, ...

Liberty is more than fireworks, hamburgers, and flag waving. Today is a day celebrating secession and revolution, when a free people overthrew a tyrannical government. Rereading the Declaration today, I figure the USA today conforms to a little over half the complaints Jefferson listed in the Declaration. And the other half has happened before, just not regularly. I work in a telephone call center doing phone surveys. (Yeah, I'm one of THOSE people.) This past little while we have been doing a survey about political subjects, one of which is people's opinion on Edward Snowden. We call all across the country, in every time zone, in every region. And by far Americans as a majority seem to have demonstrated two things to me and my colleagues.

    1. Americans know very very very little about what Edward Snowden did, what he did and did not reveal, and what it tells us the government is doing to us. Their ignorance was astounding.

    and

    2. They still want him to hang for it. By far, most people wanted him tried for treason, which carries the death penalty. Some volunteered that they thought he should be executed for his crimes, even though that wasn't specifically asked for on the survey.

So, Edward Snowden, if this every reaches you-Don't come home. Not now at least. The American sheeple do not understand what you have done for them and would see you imprisoned, or worse killed, for telling the truth and revealing the government's corruption. Sadly you are safer and freer in a place like Russia than you would be here.
