A good thing that has emerged during this time of festering tyranny is the awakening of growing numbers of people to the greater truths of freedom. Hard times tend to make good men, but unlike in times past, we now have a global information network, the broader effects of which I suspect were something which Theye failed to take into account. Of late Theye have been attempting to bring the public forum of information exchange under greater control through cancel culture and other measures. The good news is that thus far Theye have been mostly failing, despite their ever more seemingly frantic efforts to silence dissent and defiance.

    The Thirty Tyrants
The deal that the American elite chose to make with China has a precedent in the history of Athens and Sparta
    BY LEE SMITH

In Chapter 5 of The Prince, Niccolo Machiavelli describes three options for how a conquering power might best treat those it has defeated in war. The first is to ruin them; the second is to rule directly; the third is to create “therein a state of the few which might keep it friendly to you.”

The example Machiavelli gives of the last is the friendly government Sparta established in Athens upon defeating it after 27 years of war in 404 BCE. For the upper caste of an Athenian elite already contemptuous of democracy, the city’s defeat in the Peloponnesian War confirmed that Sparta’s system was preferable. It was ...

I am introducing a new English noun: MereCog.

A MereCog is anyone who is not Themme but labors for Theire glory. MereCogs are units whose sole purpose is to serve the Machine. The Machine is that upon which Theire lives are materially built.

Theye live palatially. Theye consume lavishly. Theye travel luxuriously. Theye are able to do all this solely through the agency of the MereCogs. whose collective effort builds and maintains that which Theye so obviously covet and waggle in the faces of their inferiors.

The properties of the MereCog are as follow:

    1. Numerous
    2. Fungible
    3. Inferior to Themme in attitude
    4. Mostly ignorant of their own status and position as MereCogs
    5. Mostly uncaring that they are MereCogs, to the extent

    The Cardinal Postulate states:

All men hold equal claims to life.
Let us begin with a definition of terms. While this may seem extraneous, I assure all that it is vitally important that we take this most basic step. Here, I am narrowly constricting the definitions for the purposes at hand that they may not be so readily interpreted at variance with the intended meanings.

men: n., proper third-person plural pronoun of "man"

man: n., proper pronoun for "human being"

Therefore, here the use of "men" refers to all living human beings without respect to their sex.

    hold: v., to validly possess

In this case, the holding is an innate, inherent condition of a man's ...

I don't know if this is a new idea, but it occurred to me this morning that because we live in a morass of statutory dangers - obscure and arcane laws that often conflict with others - that any state truly interested in protecting the rights and freedoms of its people need to render state governance wholly benign to non-criminals. This, of course, is as far from the positive truth as one might imagine.

Forget for the moment the federal laws. Straightening those out will prove a generational affair in the best case, methinks. Just consider doing this on a state level. Think of ding-holes like NJ, NY, and even TX where great multiplicities of dangerously stupid, out of date, and unreasonable statutes abound, serving no other practical purpose than to provide the instruments ...

WV legislature passed a Constitutional Carry bill, making it the fifth state to do so.

Not yet sure of Governor Tomblin will sign or veto, but it appears there are more than enough votes to override.

They also passed SB284, requiring all CLEOs to sign off on approved NFA transactions. The Kanawha County Sheriff, whose name escapes me at present, refuses to sign NFA transfers. This bill is going to stick in that bastard's craw like a briar. Good - I hope it kills the worthless son of a bitch.

I will not yet call this a trend, but we can hope that it is.

The Constitution of the United States of America is a weak document. In some ways it is actually horrid. Don't misunderstand, the spirit of the document is in many ways laudable. I will add that for a first attempt at building a nation-state upon the notion of individual rights and freedom, it was not bad, especially given that it was done during a time and in a culture wholly marinated in Empire and a broader historical context of several thousands of years of ever expanding tyranny. Just think about what it must have meant to undertake that endeavor. Thi basic notions of equality and rights were largely unheard of, the Magna Carta notwithstanding, and even the mental gymnastics required to dope this whole thing out may have been well beyond the ken of many people in that day.

As I type this, I am looking at a 0.21 pound container of hemp seed that I bought at the Purple Onion in Charleston West Virginia.

Have I been transported to an alternate universe? Since when is it legal to sell hemp seed? When I was in high school, several of my schoolmates spent evenings in a jail cell for as little as one single seed in the upholstery of their cars. How, then, is it that I paid $3.15 fro this small package with no DEA entry team coming to visit me?

My admittedly ancient understanding of the law was that ALL forms of hemp from all species were the stuff of which such visits by DEA were made. Strictly verboten. This used to be true of even the varieties that contain no THC. So what has changed? The law? I can barely believe that. Am I on planet Bizarro?

    Help.

In another online conversation that touched upon the Affordable Care Act ("ACA" or Bammycare), for whatever the reason the deeper issue made itself apparent to me and I think it is hairier and more significant than most people realize.

ACA appears to be one of those Rubicon moments for Themme. Psychologically speaking, it appears Theye cannot reverse themselves and retain credibility, not as trustworthy leaders, but as merciless monsters not in terms of just will, but capability to whom the "wise" man gives his perfect obedience. If Theye back off on this, the penultimate commandment to the people to self-destruction, they will have lost significant ground in terms of their ability to continue as the Grand Tyrant Omnipotent. Theye are now committed and the stakes they have set are high for one and all.

This places us squarely at a nexus: comply or defy. That is the ball that has been set into OUR court. If we comply, America such as it may be is over for a very long time, if not forever and any prospect for human freedom is extinguished well into the far future. If we defy, however, we paint Themme into a very tight corner wherein they are faced with the decision to stand down or become openly violent en masse. It appears to me that the sheer level of onerousness ACA carries has, whether by design or happenstance, set the lines of demarcation into the sand with a very thin and bright line in a way that America has not seen since colonial days when our forebears were faced with the clear and unequivocal choice to comply with or defy the King's mandates. The battle line has been drawn and because the ACA stands to bankrupt nearly every living soul in the land, which is tantamount to a suicide mandate, we are now faced with the very real and immediate choice to toe or not.
