Following the midterm elections in November, the Obama administration is privately preparing to initiate a process that would result in the printing of work permits and green cards for up to 34 million illegal immigrants in the United States.
The contract plan, which was issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service on October 6, stated that the agency would be “posting a solicitation for the requirement of Card Stock,” with the objective to provide “card consumables for the Document Management Division that will be used to produce Permanent Resident Cards and Employment Authorization Documentation Cards.

The Internal Revenue Service agents did not accuse Ms. Hinders of money laundering or cheating on her taxes — in fact, she has not been charged with any crime. Instead, the money was seized solely because she had deposited less than $10,000 at a time, which they viewed as an attempt to avoid triggering a required government report.

“How can this happen?” Ms. Hinders said in a recent interview. “Who takes your money before they prove that you’ve done anything wrong with it?”

    The federal government does.

James Risen, an Investigative Journalist, and veteran New York Times Reporter, is now another name on the list of Journalists being prosecuted by the Obama Administration. Risen, whose reporting on warrantless wiretapping was published in 2006, is now facing jail time for the same material that earned him a Pulitzer Prize.

According to Democracy Now, Risen’s original story was supposed to be published in the New York Times prior to the Presidential election in 2004. However, the report was not published until 2006, because Risen was under “government pressure,” due to the fact that his article could have had an effect of the outcome between candidates George W. Bush and John Kerry.
The same accounts included in the report, were also detailed in a book authored by ...

On June 17, a coalition of 20 organic farm and consumer groups, objecting to recent changes to the National Organic Standards Board’s (NOSB) charter, filed a legal petition with U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack seeking to protect the independent authority of the board, as well as its permanent status as established by Congress, which are both now under threat by the USDA.

A Ruby Ridge-style standoff is brewing in Nevada, where dozens of armed federal agents are closing in on cattle rancher Cliven Bundy over claims that Bundy has allowed his cows to graze illegally on government land, endangering a protected species of tortoise.

Vowing to take a stand for, “your liberty and freedom,” Bundy says he is prepared to be killed as authorities surround a 600,000 acre section of public land as a result of Bundy violating a 1993 Bureau of Land Management ruling which changed grazing rights in order to protect the endangered desert tortoise.

“With all these rangers and all this force that is out here, they are only after one man right now. They are after Cliven Bundy. Whether they want to incarcerate me or whether they want to shoot me in the back, they are after me. But that is not all that is at stake here. Your liberty and freedom is at stake,” Bundy said.

Bundy’s refusal to recognize federal authority over the land under dispute and his failure to pay tens of thousands of dollars in grazing fees stems from his assertion that his family’s history trumps bureaucracy.

“My forefathers have been up and down the Virgin Valley ever since 1877. All these rights I claim have been created through pre-emptive rights and beneficial use of the forage and water. I have been here longer. My rights are before the BLM even existed,” Bundy said.

Accusing feds of seizing Nevada’s sovereignty, Bundy says he has fought the battle legally, through the media, and is now gearing up to fight it physically.

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014...-bribery-case/

A jury convicted former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin Wednesday on 20 of 21 federal corruption counts, including bribery, marking a stunning fall for the feisty official who gained a national profile following Hurricane Katrina.

The 57-year-old Democrat, who led his city through the aftermath of the 2005 storm, was found guilty of charges that he accepted bribes, free trips and other gratuities from contractors in exchange for helping them secure millions of dollars in city work while he was in office.

He will remain free on bond while he awaits sentencing. Each of the charges carries a sentence from three to 20 years, but how long he would serve was unclear and will depend on a pre-sentence investigation and various sentencing guidelines. No sentencing date was set.
    ...
Nagin, who left office in 2010 after eight years, was indicted in January 2013 on charges he accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes and truckloads of free granite for his family business in exchange for promoting the interests of local businessman Frank Fradella.

He also was charged with accepting thousands of dollars in in payoffs from another businessman, Rodney Williams, for his help in securing city contracts.
Nagin testified that key witnesses lied and prosecutors misinterpreted evidence including emails, checks and pages from his appointment calendar linking him to businessmen who said they bribed him.

The defense repeatedly said prosecutors overstated Nagin's authority to approve contracts. His lawyer said there is no proof money and material given to the granite business owned by Nagin and his sons was tied to city business.

Cops incite violence during peaceful demonstration
    Paul Joseph Watson
    Infowars.com
    November 22, 2013
Dallas Sheriff’s deputies violently assaulted free speech activists during the JFK 50th anniversary event, punching peaceful protesters including radio host Alex Jones in shocking scenes caught on live streaming video.

Protesters were peacefully assembled outside a barricade in downtown Dallas near the site of the official commemoration of JFK.
The barricades were opened and almost out of nowhere, Sheriff’s deputies marched through and forcefully pushed protesters back, with several being violently assaulted, including radio host Alex Jones who was punched in the stomach.
One of the victims of the violence was a father with his young daughter on his shoulders. The girl began crying, but was pulled to safety by her mother.
The police were working on behalf of the Sheriff’s department and also appeared to have been coordinated by the Department of Homeland Security.
Protesters chanted “shame on you” and began to push back against the police who then held their line.
The activists had been assured, under threat of lawsuit, that they would be given access to the area beyond the barricades after the official ceremony was over.
Regular Dallas police who appeared largely friendly before the incident began seemed surprised when the black-clad Sheriff’s cops arrived to instigate the violence.
Alex Jones immediately vowed to file lawsuits against both Dallas authorities and individual police officers who took part in the assault.
Protesters had gathered at the site to peacefully demonstrate against an order by Mayor Mike Rawlings to target individuals who handed out fliers or displayed signs in the area.
More videos and images will be added to this story soon.

Went by and added some 'Truth in Advertising': Local story (DFW area) on Obamacare: 192 people losing their jobs as 9 Carl, Jr. restaurants close SPECIFICALLY because of the new requirements. The franchise owner could not afford the increased costs for healthcare, nor the fines for not offering it. His part-time workers all said they could NOT afford the exchange healthcare even WITH the subsidies. The owner is a member of a local franchisee group and they've come to the conclusion that most franchisees with less than 20 fast food restaurants will have to follow his lead of closing up to half of their locations.
Watch as 'closed' signs go up all over the country. Business owners; if you are forced to do this, PLEASE list the reason for the closing in BIG lettering on the closed sign!
