Do you sleep well knowing Jesus Christ would be persecuted by the government you pledge allegiance to if:

Jesus turned water into wine without a liquor license, paying liquor taxes, and serving minors.

Jesus preached to a sermon on the mount without a special event permit.

Jesus fed 5000 people with 5 loaves of bread and two fish without a catering license or vending permit.

Jesus restored sight to the blind without a medical license or malpractice insurance.

Jesus intervened against executing a death penalty sentence for prostitution without being an elected ruler such as a governor.

Jesus hired twelve disciples without having an Employer Identification Number, with holding income taxes, FICA payroll deductions, Social Security payroll deductions, paying minimum wage, paying overtime, reimbursing out of pocket employee expenses, reimbursement for travel, providing a safe workplace acceptable to OSHA, a business license, a fictitious business name, or occupational license.

Jesus raised anyone from the dead, rebuked winds or seas, walked on water, without a miracle license or refused consent to government laboratory studies of miracle powers.

Whom do you really serve and against whom do you rebel? I say God can not be my master no matter how good the lip service, if by action I am a servant of fear or money.

No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Please take a moment when celebrating this 2010 pagan Christmas holiday season adorning trees with silver making them immovable and join me to reflect on the only purpose man has ever had:

To love God.

I will not get side tracked in lessor discussions such as God's existence because the far greater question regardless of existence is "Why Should I Love God?"
