In the days after Rand Paul endorsed Mitt Romney I have bit my tong from the first. I wanted to think on it and its meaning for awhile. I wanted to not speak hastily or rush to judgment. Now after listening to the likes of Jack Hunter, Robert Scott Bell and other Rand apologist I have mixed their commits with what I know of the man. He has been Solid on the issue of the TSA. Rand has also supported a embargo on Iran; an act of war by any measure had one been place on the U.S.. He also ran on the issue of no earmarks. The one thing Congress should do is earmark every last red cent in order to take it out of the hands of the executive branch. Indeed he has tried to rein in the FDA and take the guns away form them. Its a mixed bag at best.

After this endorsement of Mitt Romney he has show a certain quality. A quality he shares with a steaming pile of dung. That is stinking to high heaven. I know the arguments for him and the arguments against us that view it as a betrayal. That being he is acting shrewdly and calculating. That he advances principles by making political coalitions. That we are living in a fantasy land and have the luxury of an armchair quarterback. That we don't have to deal with the GOP machine on a day to day bases.

Yes, I have the luxury. Let me count the ways. The TSA groping, Homeland Security Check Points, Warrantless wire taping, 30,000 slated spy drones over U.S. air space some of them armed, the threat of being called a terrorist and then assassinated...just to name a few. The luxuries abound.

Indeed, I am suppose to roll over and not feel betrayed. Rand Paul endorsed a man that supports National I.D. Cards, Wants to double the size of the Guantanamo Bay detention camp, Thinks that cutting Federal Government spending by one Trillion dollars takes money out of the economy, Thinks its ok to force people at the state level to buy government approved health insurance, suppressing assault weapon ownership, indefinite detention of U.S. citizens, assassinating U.S. citizens, Bombing Iran without a declaration of war from Congress, Economic Protectionism, Forcing producers of computers to add a porn filter, The Feds "independence", Bank bailouts, building walls at our Mexican Border and much more.

To add an extra sting to the slap in the face. Rand Paul endorsed Mitt Romney on the show of Statist Warmonger, Sean Hannity!

He has shown himself to be as much of a friend to individual Liberty as Dennis Kucinich. He fights when its easy to stand your ground and turns coat when the pressure is on. All he had to do was sit on his hands. No one would have questioned a none endorsement given his father was in the race. In fact no one called for it publicly. If there is a Liberty candidate in Kentucky that wants to challenge Rand for the Senate seat I will throw my Time and Treasury behind them.

Rand Paul can make amends for this betrayal of the largest grassroots Liberty movement in resent memory. It can be done and with no half measure either. Until the amends...If he shows his face around a group of Ron Paul supporters. If he comes to speak or mingle with the rising Ronulan Force...He should check the weather. Even Hannity knows when it snows
