Cut Energy Department!

The Department of Energy is unjustified and unconstitutional. Conservative Heroes like Justin Amash, Tom McClintock, Jeff Flake, Tom Graves, and others voted repeatedly to cut spending. I look forward to the day when the Department is officially ended. But unfortunately, RINOs and liberals voted against many of these cuts.
Below are amendments that would have cut spending massively, but unfortunately, many representatives who claim to be conservatives are anything but!
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/112-2012/h334 This amendment would have ended several wasteful programs within the department. A YES vote was preferred by conservatives. Thanks to Representative Chabot for presenting this amendment!
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2012/roll319.xml This amendment would have prohibited funds for the U.S. China Clean Energy Research Center. Why we are part of this organization with China? I honestly do not know. A YES vote was preferred by conservatives. Give a special thanks to Representative Rohrabacher for presenting this amendment!
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2012/roll329.xml This amendment would have cut 100 million dollars from the wasteful Defense construction fund. A YES vote was preferred by Conservatives. Give a special thanks to Representative Burgess for presenting this amendment.
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2012/roll335.xml This amendment would have cut 1% across the board. This is an EXCELLENT AMENDMENT. Look over carefully at this amendment. If your representative is a true spending cutter, he or she would have voted yes on this amendment. Give a special thanks to Representative Blackburn for presenting this amendment! YES VOTE PREFERRED!
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2012/roll336.xml This amendment would have cut 24% of spending from several various agencies of the Department of Energy. Thanks to Rep. Mulvaney for offering this amendment! YES VOTE PREFERRED!
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2012/roll338.xml This amendment would have assured that no funding goes to enforce the Davis-Beacon Act through this bill. The Davis-Beacon Act is loved by the unions, and there are several union loving RINOs who voted no. Thanks to Rep. King of Iowa for presenting this amendment! YES VOTE PREFERRED!
Unfortunately, all these amendments failed due to the liberals and RINOs who repeatedly voted no. But thankfully, WE the people can finally see which representatives are serious and which are not.
Action Alert: Contact your Representative and respectfully correct them if they have a bad spending habit as shown by the votes above. If your representative voted correctly, call his/her office and encourage them to continue to do what is right! It will make a difference!
