I was not here until after Maher started talking about him in the summer of 2007, but that moment drew me and hundreds of thousands of other supporters into the fold. So, the diehards were wrong, and the influx of new folks was amazing. Now Ron is at 10-15% nationally, has unleashed three great advertisements, and has people curious about him at the very least.

The pattern at RPF has tended to be very critical after debates. Yet new people come aboard and say "What?!? Ron was awesome. I just signed up!" or "My neighbor loved what he said". Everyone needs to take a chill pill, go do something different and unwind. Tomorrow, we will see what has cleared and it's a whole new ball game. Remember, the highs are very high and the lows are very low. But it is all perspective, as one's perceptions lead to a low whereas another's lead to a high.

Mandatory Optimism. That's a two word slogan that needs to be used more around here. It's like a bunch of whiny tantrums. If I were a new supporter, and I lurked on the forum, I might have some second thoughts. I just think some of you go way overboard with your "chicken little the sky is falling wah wah wah" mentality. If you want to persist in being chicken little rainmakers, please do it somewhere else and then come back when you're not so negative and whiny. Constructive criticism is fine, but come on guys, some of you know you're taking it a tad bit overboard on the debate performance.

Ron's not perfect. He is the first to tell you this. But he has done more for the cause that none of you who spouted your criticisms would dare say what you typed to his face. The message is perfect. The messenger may not be, but I'll be damned sure to be behind him every step of the way. Will you? Time to seperate the wheat from the chaff. If you think the fence thing was controversial, you ain't seen nothing yet. This was open war from General Electric, through MSNBC, towards the only genuine anti-Military Industrial Complex candidate. OPEN WAR! Any one of us would be trembling with anger at the obvious slights that built up during the debate. We're just beginning a major battle, and like someone else said, time to man up!!!

It's Ron Paul or bust. Literally. And he's done as much as he possibly can. Time for you to explain to your friends and family WHY he is right, and what he really means. Otherwise, just give up right now.
