Kludge is the type to have a bad back and the gout by the time he's 16, so I don't know that I could even use him for chores without a whole lot of bitching and moaning, even if he is 18.
It depends - if Kludge is 18....then heck yeah! I think they're still basically trainable at that age, and have relatively unlimited energy. Good for chores, and such...
