  1. I still don't buy the ISIS fearmongering. And: keep in mind how many civilians were killed supposedly trying to stop Hitler.
  2. I only changed my mind on the ISIS issue after coming to the conclusion that they're a bigger threat than I first realized. I haven't changed my mind on foreign policy in general. Even before I took the position that non intervention is the correct position as a general principle, but it can't be an iron clad rule that can never be broken regardless of the particular circumstances.
  3. I don't know if its actually true or just perception, but it seems like you are more interventionist than you were even just a few days ago.
  4. I probably agree with 95% of Ron Paul's foreign policy. I agreed with him far more than I agreed with the other Republican candidates running in both 2008 and 2012. And I still consider myself to be closer to Ron on foreign policy issues than to Rand. Because, for example, I'm in favor of closing down all of our foreign bases and bringing our troops home. That's the position that Ron took. Rand has never taken a position close to that. The only thing I disagree with Ron on is that I think that non intervention should be a general principle, not an iron clad rule that can never be broken.
  5. For what its worth, I completely agree that there's a huge difference between you and Sean Hannity. But I think there's a sizable difference between you and Ron Paul as well.
  6. Yeah I understand and I agree assuming by "rape" we mean actual force and not slight age of consent violations. I doubt most cops even know the difference though. I've heard that they reject applicants for the police force who have IQs above a certain level and it wouldn't surprise me. It certainly seems most (not all) of them are morons who don't even think about the things they do.

One thing I've found crazy is when I've seen "resisting arrest" as being the ONLY cause for a person being arrested. Don't you kind of have to commit some other crime before you can be legally arrested? ITs getting crazier and crazier and my resentment toward them is growing more and more.
  7. I certainly don't think that the police should ever kill someone simply because they're resisting arrest for a petty offense. On the other hand, it would be entirely different if they were after a murderer or rapist who resisted arrest. So I guess it just depends on the situation. I certainly think that the police are out of control in general, with the police abuse stories that we see every single day.
  8. Does this tick you off as much as it ticks me off?:

  9. I usually reserve neg repping for total morons and people I don't have respect for.

I really wanted to neg rep you because I like SF's posts and I really wanted to show disapproval of that particular post but I know some people take neg reps personally and I like you to so I decided to do what I did instead.
  10. Good point. That would almost be insulting, but it would be funny
