      To keep up with new messages, use the New Post featured, located in the red navigation bar under the site logo.

      I'm using New Posts but don't want to see posts in some forums.
      To exclude forums of non-interest:
      * Go to Settings -> General Settings ("Settings" is just under the red navigation bar under the logo), or select here.
      * Scroll to the bottom and you will see an option "Exclude forums from "New Posts":" - select what you want to exclude.
      * You can also have the excluded forums hidden on the forum index by selecting the check box under the list (see "Hide Forums from Forumhome").
      * Scroll to the bottom of the page, select "Save Changes".

      I want to keep track of topics that I post in.
      The systems "subscribed threads" facilities can help you keep track of such topics. To do so make sure you have not disabled the facilities by:
      * Go to Settings -> General Settings or click here.
      * Under "Default Thread Subscription Mode:" make sure it is not set to "Do not subscribe".
      * Scroll to the bottom of the page, select "Save Changes" if needed.

      To view your subscribed threads:
      * Visit: Post Management -> Subscribed Threads or click here.

      A alternative way to check your subscribed threads and get a message preview is by checking your Activity Feed:
      * Select "My Profile" in the upper right of any page.
      * Select the "My Activity" tab.
      * Select the "Subscriptions" sub-tab.

      I want to keep track of some topics that I haven't post in.

      See the Help Section for more information on Subscriptions.

      I want to keep track of my friend's posts.
      To keep track of friend's posts you have to tell the system who your friends are. First make sure you add the member to your friend list (they will have to approve).
      * The next time you see the member post click on their name, select "Add as Contact".

      As an alternative:
      * Select Community -> Friends & Contacts ("Community" is just under the red navigation bar under the logo), or select here.
      * Go to the "Add a Member to Your List..." box and type in your friends name.

      To view your friends posts:
      * Select "My Profile" in the upper right of any page.
      * Select the "My Activity" tab.
      * Select the "Friends" sub-tab.

      For more information, see the Help Section on Friends & Contacts and Subscriptions.

      I want to get e-mail notifications where there is a new message in a topic.
      The systems "subscribed threads" facilities can help you get e-mail notification on topics of interest.
      * Enabled the e-mail notification system, Settings -> General Settings or click here.
      * Under "Default Thread Subscription Mode" select "Instantly, using e-mail" or daily, or weekly.

      I want to see who's posted in a very large thread before reading it.
