    Stop Socialism Memes

    Thread Starter: truthspeaker

Hey everyone, I know it's been a couple years. I wanted to do a little pre-planning with everyone BEFORE the primary season starts. Our biggest challenge isn't the GOP frontrunner--it's the corrosive mark socialism makes. This is a brainstorming thread. What I propose is that we bookmark this thread and grow it. Every reply to this thread may be a commonly said remark by a socialist...

    Positives Coming From Trump's Election

    Thread Starter: doublek321

California is talking CALExit. I assume Trump being elected is a big part of this. I like the idea that states are standing up for states' rights. Even though I don't expect them to secede, I do think this is healthy. It's also educational for people to realize that states have power. It also might spur people to wonder what other power they have. Curiosity in this direction is a good...

Dilbert Creator's Theory On The Genius Of Trump's "Rocket Man" Comments

    Thread Starter: anaconda

In a nutshell he claims that Kim Jong-Un will now be the laughing stock of the world when he tests a missile, and that Trump removed all of the macho incentive for him by uttering these two words (P.S. last time I checked the video below plays just fine despite the appearance that it's been removed from youtube). Fed economist: 'No evidence that QE works' as central bank starts unwinding program

    Thread Starter: Zippyjuan

I have said that QE is only potentially helpful in the very short term. Over time, any benefits are reduced and requires an exponentially higher level of stimulus to keep things going. I argued against more rounds of QE saying they wouldn't do much for the economy. (though it should be noted that Canada was not hurt as much by the recession as the US and Japan).

    Personalised cancer vaccines

    Thread Starter: Firestarter

I already knew that “virus hunters” have been trying to prove “scientifically” that cancer is caused by a virus, but this is still not the official story on cancer. I think I should add some arguments that the idea that vaccines can be used to fight cancer is ridiculous. But before I can, I have to figure out how anybody could believe such a thing in the first place. I can find lots of...

Does the Claim that Only 1 in a Million are Harmed by Vaccines Have Any Merit?

    Thread Starter: Created4

Marco Caceres of The Vaccine Reaction takes a look at the government and pharmaceutical claims that vaccines are safe, and that adverse reactions to vaccines are only about 1 in a million. The point that is often missed in this debate is that there is one thing that is NOT disputed, and that everyone agrees...

My thoughts (done up quick): The Enlightenment was by no means a leap forward, only the closing of a philosophical Zero: where the end meets the beginning. Easy explanation why capitalism benefits the poor.

    Thread Starter: Madison320

The common argument against capitalism is that the greedy rich hog everything for themselves and they don't leave anything for the poor. I think I have a pretty simple argument why this is not true. It should be pretty obvious that if you leave the producers alone (capitalism) you get more stuff. The more you burden them with taxes and regulations (socialism), the less stuff you are going to get....

We all here want term limits and career politicians will never vote for them

    Thread Starter: dude58677

What we can do is make career politicians unmarketable. We do that by electing nonpoliticians to office. This revolutionary moment happened on November 9. You might not agree with Donald Trump on a lot of issues and I don't when it comes to foreign policy(although he kept some domestic promises through executive order) but someone had to get the ball rolling to inspire others to follow his path....
