The Israeli Company That Fenced in Gaza Eyes Trump's Mexico Wall

The border security business is thriving and that’s good news for Magal Security Systems Ltd. boss Saar Koursh. His biggest showroom: the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli company, which wrapped Gaza in a fence to prevent militant attacks, has helped construct barriers along the Egyptian and Jordanian frontiers. It’s now competing for the contract to build a wall on Kenya’s border with Somalia, Koursh, Magal’s chief executive officer, said. If Donald Trump makes it to the White House, Mexico could be next.

“The border business was down, but then came ISIS and the Syrian conflict,” Koursh, 44, said in an interview, using an acronym for Islamic State. “The world is changing and borders are coming back big-time.”

Mounting jihadist violence and waves of migration have created a surging demand for fortified frontiers. Critics question the long-term effectiveness of such defenses, arguing that improved intelligence, along with solutions to political, social and economic problems, would be more effective.

natural barriers work best at keeping people away. Thousands of people already die crossing mountains and rivers. If people want to come here, they'll find a way, and chucklef*ck Trump's wall wont keep them out.

Building the wall will make it much easier to keep many of the worst invaders away and prevent them from coming back after being deported. The wall is a must build. I have faith that Trump will keep his promise and build that wall so fast our heads will spin. If Trump gets elected and doesn't build the wall, it would be the most disappointing campaign promise that an elected president ever made and failed to deliver.

I don't know about that, Obama was supposed to heal the planet.

I would suppose that promise would only make sense if you believe that there was some planet that was wounded and needed presidential healing.

Maybe they can get the folks that built the walls around Hillary's compounds.

But don't worry. Hitlary's walls were probably paid for by Saudi Sheikh donations to the ~~Hillary Bribery Fund~~ er uhm The Clinton Foundation.
