Unfortunately, while laudable for taking a public stand, these folks could have done actual damage to the liberty-violative drug "interdiction" police apparatus had they concealed their perspectives until chosen as jurors. I respect them, they have brought awareness, but we need folks to actually make it onto the juries!
I see a lot of victim-blaming here (trying to blame "the people" for the incompetence of the gov'ment). The author is mistaken-the criminals in government are responsible for their actions. There needs to be a mechanism for their punishment. The CONstitution doesn't offer this. Perhaps some show trials are in order.
