This absolutely won't work unless Aimee Allen's sales are reported through Nielsen Soundscan, which means she needs a bar code and catalogue code (even if the distribution is entirely digital), and a store that reports sales to Nielsen. Bar codes can run you a few hundred bucks.

Another problem is securing distribution through iTunes or another online store. They do not accept songs from individuals. You need to have a distributor working on your behalf that has a contract with iTunes.

Also, she needs to have her work legally copyrighted and provide broadcasting rights to any station that wants to play her, which means she'll probably have to be in direct contact with the radio station itself unless she has legal representation to take care of that for her.

Finally, if her song isn't professionally mastered (I haven't heard it myself yet) most commercial radio stations will refuse to play it.

im sure her record company would gladly pay the fees to barcode her song as well as aimee allen,they would have a FREE PROMOTER as in US,if we made the purchases like a moneybomb on one day once she released thru itunes we would possibly hit #1 as long as we dont release it on the same day as a britney single hehehe

if we organized the release with aimee allen and the record company edited end of song to say wake up america ronpaul2008.com and then we the supporters(made a song bomb and 50,000 ron paul supporters bought 10 copies a week for a month her song would be #1 in less then 2 weeks and then the rotation on radio stations would snowball,plus media coverage. plus maybe we can even get amiee to donate all proceeds or half of them to ronpaul2008.com this would me a huge fundraiser and would be all over the news and radio stations. ok you all get the idea now:)
