I'm in the military, and ... well yeah I don't get paid much and I'm pretty broke, but I'm trying to save my money.

my taxes are automatically taken out of my paycheck, and normally I get about 600-800$ tax rebate every year ( since being in the military )

now I'm seeing this plan, which I'm sure most of you know about, to give tax rebates to people. They're saying they're going to give people like.. 800-1,600$ for a tax rebate.

But I already get about 800$ tax rebate. Is this 'stimulus package' going to be in addition to my already 800$ rebate? Or am I just being ignored? Too bad our military doesn't get any sort of bonus... ******* government. I hate my employer.

I would imagine its going to be a big bureaucratic process to get this rebates.

But from the sound of it, if you pay taxes, you can apply to receive anywhere from $300 - $1300 from the IRS.

I doubt it will be an application process, I suspect a mass mailing of checks like was done a few years ago.

When was this? I got no check.

I also saw my total tax increase by quite a bit after Bush passed his tax "cut."

What does it mean to you? The price of a gallon of milk is going to go from the $4.50 it is today to $6.50 through inflation.
