They need to get some radio/tv advertising going as well.

Too little too late?

They absolutely need to hit Iowa hard with TV ads

That's how Corker beat Ford in the 2006 senate race

Not Iowa - the county where this is happening though - more targeted audience and less expensive

That's a winning strategy for now. Glad theyve got a good game plan

I hope Dr. Paul starts focusing on the key primaries though (NH, SC, Iowa)

That is great, but is exposure at a few restaurants and community centers enough to impact a lot of people?

They need to rent Adventureland in Des Moines and invite everyone for "Ron Paul Day" with free admission or greatly reduced admission or some such.

That will get free TV coverage.

Is this posted somewhere? I would like to forward the information to KTVO and the Ottumwa Courier.

the ronpaul2008 website is showing the fairfield-ottumwa event on their main page. As well as the August 6th events.

With the Call Iowa program, mail iowa program and the DvD distrobution program,

I think if we/they hit it hard with some radio spots before the events,
then the debate,
then more radio/newspaper ads,
the events,
A nice large Ron Paul 'Overnight" in Iowa
and
some small T.V. ads.
....it sounds like he could pull a good amount of support with minimal money.

9th and 10th there will a large contingent at iowa state fair, as well as ronstock in ames from 2-10 pm on the 10th. As for the 8th I believe they are planning to be in the parade at the iowa state fair that night. You'll be kept plenty busy. :)

Why aren't these all on the website right now?

Guess they can't fit them all on the front page I just got this through a meetup group so I assume they are correct, also the ones showing on the ronpaul2008 website were put up after I got the schedule.

They can fit them on there. All they need to do is change the box to a scrolling box. If they can't do a copy/paste/modify for a scrolling box, then put More... with a link to another page with the rest of the scheduled events.

Bradley, you have their ear. They really need to find a way to put events up on their Web site as far in advance as possible. This would allow people to plan in advance, and they would get larger crowds.
