1. Huckaboo and the Ghoul are broke. Neither will place higher than 3rd in Florida. They're both out.

2. It's left to two guys with money (Romney and Paul) and one guy with momentum (McCain).

3. No clear winner after 2/5/08 as news stories are starting to mention (some are saying that it's logically and mathematically not probable).

4. Conservatives hate McCain. Every talk show host is against him - even Hannitty!

5. Now they are faced with a tough decision - Romney or Paul. They will be FORCED to look at Paul's positions and be faced with the simple fact that:

IT'S BETTER TO BRING ALL THE TROOPS HOME THAN HAVE HILLARY AS COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF!

(btw, this is the argument I use to convince the Bushites who all share a common loathing of Hillary).

After the economy tanks, we'll all be billionaires. :D

Here's the logic I use:

IF: McCain wins nomination.
THEN: Hillary will set herself up as being the anti-war candidate.

IF: Hillary is the anti-war candidate and the economy is bad.
THEN: Hillary will become president.

IF: Hillary is president
THEN: Hillary is commander-in-chief and we will have a socialist America.

SCARY!!!!!

I would speculate $10 mill after ad buys in Florida and what not. Pure speculation on my part.

I hope he spends every bit of it in Cali, New York, Arizona, a little in Alaska, Illinois, and Montana. If we do well on Super Tuesday we'll refill his coffers! Crap I forgot Washington, definitely Washington! Caucus state!

That was before we injected them with another $2 million the other day.

Basically. If Hillary wins, she'll bring home the troops, but she'll also get us involved in African civil wars, would engage in a "UN first" foreign policy of appeasement, and with a Democratic Congress would institute socialist health care.

Paul, meanwhile, will bring the troops home, but he won't get us bogged down anywhere else in exchange, will not kowtow to any other country or supranational insitutiton, and will veto any socialism the Democratic Congress puts forth (Bush has succumbed to many of their leftist demands and it's likely McCain the "maverick" RINO and Romney the opportunist would do the same).

I read her "economy" plan today.

She wants to "freeze" foreclosures for 90-days (does this mean people get to live there for free for 3 months!?)

She wants to "freeze" resets on adjustibles for 5-years.

This smacks completely of socialist-progressive, bail everyone out who made bad decisions. Forget the people who were responsible, saved and want to buy a house during the downturn - now those people have to pay much more because the government is articifically supporting the market. She, and all other democrats (now completely socialists) make me SICK! (I used to be a democrat, so did my wife, so did my in-laws. - NOT ANYMORE!!!!)

Im tired of chosing from Republicans, who bail out business who make bad decisions, and Democrats, who bail out people who make bad decisions.

I want the Personal Responsibility Party.

We'll see. 1/20 - 1/23 compiled polling (6 total) shows:

McCain - 24.9

Romney - 23.5

Giuliani - 18.8

Huckabee - 15.5

Thompson - 5.7 (included only in 3 of 6 polls conducted prior to his dropping out)

Paul- 4.3

I can't believe your falling for that baloney. She'll find an excuse to stay in Iraq if she is elected.. All this talk now is just to get votes. She has always been strongly for the war.

I propose that we stop referring to leftist Democrats as "liberal" and use either progressive (if we're feeling nice) or socialist (if we're feeling honest).

I'm not falling for it, I'm saying to use the argument I made as a talking point. Saying she'll keep the troops there might get a few "conservatives" to actually consider her.

Not too mention the Brilliance of the Cross Party appeal, of bring the troops home and lower taxes, less government...

What we will see is a GOP in shock, and a Democratic Party in shock... Leaving a new Ron Paul like GOP and the old school GOPers going somewhere else, joining with the same types on the left to create a Corporate party...

You forget Mike Huckabee has only had cash for a short period of time.
So it's not going to shut him down as you believe. After Florida his knew strategy will be like Paul's. Just win as many delegates as possible and hope for a brokered convention.

Plus he can get wins in the south with Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, etc. all from the evangelical vote alone.

Look for him to suck up to Mitt and McCain. That way he can be a VP candidate for either of them. Strategically speaking he would be a great vp for McCain to gain the evangelical vote McCain lacks.

Just my opinion but it's what I would do if I were him...

Agreed. I could easily see a Ron Paul presidential victory realigning the two major parties along the liberty vs. authority axis. Of course, the Democrats would abandon the term "liberal" in favor of "populist" to appeal to theocratic evangelicals and neo-conservatives.

I have the sick feeling that McCain is this election's Bob Dole or John Kerry . . . that is, the party's no-win candidate put in there just to protect the duopolistic facade of Washington.

They can't stand in the way of "an idea whose time has come" though! :D

I notice in your sig you mention Richard Viguerie who has put up the ultimateronpaul.com site.

Anything going on with this? I found it interesting that this site came online a day or so before a particularly juicy rumor got started.

I can believe it, BUT if we had say $30M in the bank and a new campaign manager. I think the strategy is sound but the execution will be poor due to lack of finances and lack of good press coverage to ensure our "surge" through a legit campaign manager.

Maybe I'm just being cynical. I think Paul can win, but not with what HQ is doing now. I think if they were just to reshuffle their campaign staff or hire some big gun, it would make a lot of people in the media take notice, and greatly effect our ability to raise money again.

15 million on hand. If I told you the source I would have to shoot you. Alaska has a couple of HQ staffers arriving here as this is written. Only Romney has one lonely paid campaigner here. We are looking good in Alaska. Going for gold in the Gold filled state.

1. Huckaboo and the Ghoul are broke. Neither will place higher than 3rd in Florida. They're both out.

Everyone around here talks about how Huckabee is broke, yet he has a more consistent lifeline of donations than we do. He's been consistently raising 50-100k/day this quarter, while our campaign's been doing 10-30k with one two million dollar day.

At this rate we're going to end up raising the same as Huckabee for Q1.

So, do you want to dominate that fascist, or do you want to give him every advantage? If we can consistently outraise him 2:1 every day, he'll be gone. If it stays how it is right now, though, he'll play the same game we are, and just hang around until the convention, albeit on life support.

Donate!

Hey Nate :D Where in WA you at? I'm down in Clark here, and we're seeing a few Romney people about, but the vast majority are RPs too. The caucuses are going to be gold for us. Hopefully after Super Tuesday we'll get some people looking into RP for the primary too.
