My big knock on Reagan is that he failed to act to shut down the ATF after a senate subcommittee did a report outlining its abuse of American gun owners.

If he had acted, a whole bunch of people in Waco along with Randy Weaver's wife and kid, would still be alive and well.

And I'd still be able to buy a Maadi Griffin .50 cal. :D

BS, Reagan did what he could. Paul fans will find the same thing. The President only has so much power and very little time to get major changes done. Each four year presidency gives you two years to make any real change. Every other year is an election year and there will be no major changes. Our president is very weak, Paul would want the president to be even weaker. Paul would get very little done that he speaks of and that is why he should campaign on the sensible things he can do instead of the more extreme things we would like for him to be able to do. The president isn't a dictator.
