Both ideas are great but can you both coordinate to have the bomb on the same day. liberty one is saying Feb. 3, fox bomb is saying feb 2nd.

Maybe the 3rd would be best for both since it is a sunday?

Agreed.

Two themes for a single day moneybomb has not been tried before and I think it would be a great combinational motivator.

libertytax08.com is one, the fox bomb has a site but I don't think it's up yet.

More donation websites? I thought these two were enough...

Rebates4ron.com/ (http://rebates4ron.com/)

Rebatesforronpaul.com (http://rebatesforronpaul.com)

So, let me get this straight, we have FOUR websites dedicated to, essentially, the same donation type (i.e rebates)...and none of them are linked or coordinated? The two I mentioned don't have set dates. Libertytax08.com and another donation YouTube video, Fox News Ron Paul Moneybomb (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gThRbPO8E2o) have DIFFERENT set dates. Obviously, either the sites need to merge, or they should maintain their independence by just always linking to one another.

This assumes we even GET a rebate check. Isn't the proposal still under consideration? If so, WHY are some spending so much time making donation websites for it?

Canvassing is our #1 priority, regardless.

The Official Ron Paul Money Bomb Website lists the upcoming Money Bomb Events and the Next Mass Donation Drive as Feb. 3rd. - Liberty Tax 2008.

Please, please get your Money Bomb Events posted on this website. It is the oldest and the official site for MoneyBombs!!!

http://www.ronpaulmoneybomb.com/

Second, go to the Top Ron Paul Websites at http://www.topronpaulsites.com/
and then contact the webmasters at the Top 20 most visited Ron Paul Sites and get your Banner posted on Page 1 !!!

Good luck, they are good ideas !!!

Are the Rebates for Ron sites meant to include the upcoming "economic stimulus" checks?

What's the date going to be? How about President's Day -- February 18th?

Yes, they are both for the stimulus checks.

Both will schedule donations for the same day and work together in that way. Unfortunately, we did not know of each other's existence. :)

Media complicity is a luxery that Ron doesn't have, which is why money bombs are ineffective. A continued, sustained stream of donations is the only way Ron can plan, project and keep up the good fight. We all want Ron to win, so we all need to donate often.

Money bombs are a distraction and actually hurt the campaign because they withhold money from Ron when he needs it. Just like a business, you can't operate on boom/bust cycles - you need sustained income.

Without media complicity, it's just an egocentric activity.

The money bomb was a fine idea until the media proved it wasn't going to be complicit. We need to adapt if we are to win Ron the presidency. If people really want to help Ron, they'll throw money at his campaign often. Instead of talk and websites of money bombs, there should be talk and websites of continued contributions. Throw some goals in there such as "X dollars for Super Bowl ads" and you help Ron spread the message.

Do not wait for a specific day to donate, donate NOW if you can. Ron Paul needs the money NOW and not tomorrow or the next day. Donate now if you can and if you can donate on the many different money bomb days ALSO then do that.

5 million MORE is what is needed very soon so we need to focus on getting people to the main site and DONATING and not designing sites and banners to get people to the money bomb sites.

Lets use our existing money bomb sites to get people to donate now, use our current email lists and new ones to contact people to let them to know to donate NOW.

We have around 10 days give or take to raise 5 million dollars so we know what that means 500k a day from here to feb 5th. Can it get done? That is up to us.

I'll design a easy Donate 'till it Hurts Right Now Money Bomb site if someone wants to throw up a domain and video.

the point will be to spread the word that people should donate right now as part of a continuous money bomb. as a marketer, I can tell you that a "Now" 'call to action' is a simple Must Have word and cause it works.

we could even should how many people have been redirected to the donate page. they MAYBE pledge their email and get redirected

I would love a "max out for ron paul" site. SO those who are or have maxed out can pledge..... We need some heavy hitters donating to the OFFICIAL campaign now more then ever.

DOnating now is key and not to wait for any special day. I know it is fun for those who are new to the campaign to enjoy participating in a money bomb but we need to get 5 more million as in 500k DAILY for the next 10 days.

Thanks for your input. Fortunately your text above is conjecture and opinion and not subject to actually being correct. In addition, your misguided knowledge of an events purpose is showing. The moneybombs serve two fold. 1. To raise money for the campaign. 2. To demoralize our grassroots counterparts in the other campaigns.

Hi.. Eric Nordstrom here... webmaster for http://www.ronpaulmoneybomb.com and the http://www.libertytax08.com

I agree - I have been trying to find some contact information for the fauxbomb - no luck.

Libertytax08 is picking up speed and has been listed as an ongoing moneybomb for a month now.

Throw in your weight to the LibTax..

I will be listing the fauxbomb on the http://www.ronpaulmoneybomb.com/fullscreen.html but I wont be encouraging folks to sign up. Unless he/she changes the date to the 3rd.

I almost want to say that this is a "troll" site - built to ensure we all wouldn't focus on one date.

And, please for those of you who keep saying that moneybombs are a thing of the past.. cut that crap out. It still works, it is still fun, and it still rallies all of us together.

Poo Pooers go home..

Thanks.. :)

Agreed.

Two themes for a single day moneybomb has not been tried before and I think it would be a great combinational motivator.

Multi themed donation days HAVE happened before - and it took me a great deal of effort to coordinate all the dates from all the "rockstars" who wanted to make a moneybomb. see - http://www.ronpaulmoneybomb.com/fullscreen.html

I am still not sure why the forums here continue to NOT send folks over to the http://www.ronpaulmoneybomb.com site.

After all, the very first moneybomb was performed by us. (I realize that popular opinion thinks it was another person).

At some point in time, you guys really need to use the resource set up at the MoneyBomb Central Hub AKA - the Original Ron Paul Money Bomb.

Get the facts here -> http://ronpaulmoneybomb.com/messages/msg/269.html

Thanks,

Eric

You guys really need to publish this information to the Ron Paul Money Bomb site. I don't mind doing research on who is doing what.. but if you can get me the information I can include them on the donation event listing and also let folks know via my news letter.

Total Myth - the idea that we need to donate NOW is bogus, much of the money we donate NOW is locked up until next quarter.

Do the moneybombs, it attracts more people, it is fun, it is a good way to show our support and unity.

The donate now site already exists - it is http://www.ronpaul2008.com

I really don't understand why we need to continuously re-create the wheel. Don't get me wrong, your idea is a great idea, I just wish that people like you would help those of us who already have a resource. I'd be glad to have you on as a partner or contributor. Team work is King.

For example: The Ron Paul Money Bomb - http://www.ronpaulmoneybomb.com

Performed it's first weekly donation event on October 20th 2007 and did weekly events every week from that moment on...

Then all of a sudden, a knucklehead posted a video saying to stop the moneybombs - we needed to donate weekly instead! What a goof.

Everyone wants to be an expert and no one is doing their homework. Anyway, although the dude isn't bright, we still supported his http://www.ronpaulspayday.com

Man.. this forum really gets my blood pressure going. I know you guys are trying to kick some neocon ass and support our candidate... but please bring the moneybomb discussion back home where it all started -> http://www.ronpaulmoneybomb.com

Thanks,

Eric

It has been set as the 1st by the popular vote of the forum, and also common sense dictates.

Please stop attempting to sound superior.

Well obviously there is no reason to have 2 split up days we need to have just one massive day.

Also I'd like to suggest that if your going to do multi-themed titles for the next money bomb you might as well go ahead and try to make a couple different ones to appeal to more people. This might be to late to get finished before the upcoming one, but it might be something to think about in the future. Just think do one about ending the war, taxation, alternative health, and possibly ending the war on drugs. Or just whatever else you guys can think of.

Liberty has moved to the 1st because Trevor has refused to move his fiftyoneyears.com date to the 3rd.
