How could McCain have won when we are being told that him and the other Republicans (except Mitt Romney) were all under the same coalition?

McCain could NOT get delegates today.

What about that garbage with the other candidates' supporters bunching together into one slate?

See i don't like this kinda crap...if it's preliminary why post the results if there's so many provisionals to count,,,only explaination is to try to skew onlookers to think that McCain has it in the bag.

The way I read it sounds like RP got 3rd, the Pro Life group grabbed 1st, Mccain 2nd, and Ron Paul 3rd....Anyone else read it that way?

"I applaud the supporters of Congressman Paul for their enthusiasm and superior organizational ability," Villere said. "Our Party needs the infusion of new activists who have both political skill and a passion for protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us by the Constitution," he said. "I left the caucus with a renewed commitment to promote our core Republican principles of limited government and individual freedom, thanks to the zeal displayed by Congressman Paul's Louisiana supporters," Villere said.

The Pro Life slate are mostly Fred supporters. So, they really are uncommitted. RP could pick up some of them.

Ron was second as far as candidates are concerned. It's a silver.

Interesting quote from LAGOP:

"I applaud the supporters of Congressman Paul for their enthusiasm and superior organizational ability," Villere said. "Our Party needs the infusion of new activists who have both political skill and a passion for protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us by the Constitution," he said. What happened to First Place?

As far as I'm concerned, the Prolife slate doesn't count.

Where did McCain's delegates get counted. Anyone on the ground have any info on this. All reports I saw, none of them had many McCain supporters.

mccain was strapped into the pro life ticket, he and romney pulled away with the majority of the delegates from that, and we still beat out romney. It was shenanigans, and we were robbed of first place.

That aside, second is great.
