Question. are you and other posters on here deliberately placing a space between the "h" and "ttp". If so, why? It's annoying as hell.

It's only for polls, so the poll-site does not see all new votes coming from this site.

We own the internet!!! Why are we now losing on line polls?

so the website doesnt have a directing URL from RPForums. Some websites start blocking/banning IP's of people coming from Ron Paul websites. If they ut the space, people have to fix it themselves in a new address bar so it doesnt show the linked website where the people are coming from.

it breaks the link so it is untraceable to others that will want to point fingers at saying we are planting votes I guess.

Yes, we were having issues earlier in the campaign with polls being removed when a flood of votes suddenly came in from people who were using links on the forum.

By "breaking" the link it removes that problem.

I know that I don't even bother looking for them any more, to busy doing things in the real world. I only posted this one because one of my volunteers sent me an e-mail about it.

Because we don't get delegates for online polls.

What is the technical reason they would "see" we were coming from this site? Doesn't this site have all links open in a new window?

Maybe it only registers votes that come from a Missouri IP address. That would be clever.

Or maybe it just adds 1 bonus tally for McCain for every 3 votes cast.

It's to prevent the Google page rank from increasing for that page.

When you see a favorable article, don't break the link.

If it's not favorable, break the link.

That should allow the best articles to bubble up to the top of the Google search results.
