so be humble... keep low profile, steady and cool headed.

GOP is against us. We have to be extra carefull and check the Caucus rules in details.

we are walking on eggs. dangerous poisonous eggs. eggs worth billions and billions of dollars. Remember Kennedy. Hopefully with Internet power we are safer.

Must keep the GOP process. stop talking about independant bid. they want us to do that. we can win the convention. and the process brings media exposure.

- If you say you're for RP in your speech, you'll get selected by other RP fans, but won't be selected by non-RP fans. If you say you're unsure in your speech, then you may pick-up non-RP votes, but at the risk of missing-out on RP votes. Also, there is no guarantee that there aren't hucksters, er, fake reps looking to take away RP votes, only to later support another candidate. This may be mitigated if all RP supporters know who is for RP, but other's don't (just conjecture on my part). In other words, it a game of organizing ourselves while confusing our opponents.

- Knowing the names of RP's delegates for your district before attending the Caucus seems best to avoid confusion. Not sure where to get this info, but your local RP rep office or meetup.com site probably has a list.

I've been going over this in my head all day and this is how it played out:

We had 2 strategies we could have done:

1) Play the game or

2) Go for broke


#1 takes like 5 years. You have to join local GOP things, schmooze, be a good little neocon... work your way up... work the system... SAY you are uncommitted when everyone else knows you aren't etc..

and

#2 takes 3 months of hard planning, lots of organization and a lot of energy. You don't necessarily make friends with the establishment this way and you have a lot to lose.. .but you also have a lot to win...


We did #2 because it was the only thing we could do. And even if we didn't do as well as we wanted, we did break in the door, and that's a serious feat.

We did this. We followed the rules. They let out the clarion call when we had more delegates and organized the state against us.

The point of the original post is DEAD ON. We have to know the rules and play the game well to win.

Too many people going off half-cocked, not knowing anything about how the process works and then yelling "conspiracy" or "corruption" when we don't win.

If we want to take this country back, we have to work the system BETTER than the people who have been doing it for 50 years.

So, as the original post advises: humility, keep it on the down low, KNOW THE RULES, and work harder than anybody else.

Then why did the Democratic Party hold caucuses in casinos in Las Vegas?

And what about those casino bosses who would only let employees out of work to caucus for Obama? Hillary supporters stayed on their shifts.

Read anything about the Culinary Union lately? Read the stories of intimidation and threats of physical violence coming out of NV? Probably not. The MSM doesn't cover that sort of thing...sound familiar?

That's ONE example from ONE state from the last month.

BOTH parties are dirty. BOTH parties pander to special interests. BOTH parties will do everything they can to keep their actions in the dark, like the cockroaches they are....petrified of the light.

Yeah, the Dems are a little bit clearer about how they suppress minority voices in their caucus. Through the 15% rule.
