View Full Version : Ron Paul Painting
I am an artist who supports the Ron Paul campaign for president. I have decided to paint a portrait of him after noticing there were no other paintings available yet. Not only that but I decided to make a website where others could post about their works as well:
http://www.ronpaulpainting.com
I have an auction for the first in a series of giclée prints up on eBay right now:

We do paper prints too though and they are substantially less money. I will be putting up auctions for those very soon. Just keep watching this thread or http://www.RonPaulPainting.com and I will announce it.
Thanks for your interest and I am very honored that you like the painting that much :)

Something I posted on http://www.RonPaulPainting.com Bulletin Board about the upcoming paper prints since you asked. They should be substantially less expensive than the canvas.
Thanks for your suggestion :)

Talk to the official campaign to sell them on thier website. Thatll be sweet!
 Here's what I sent via the campaign's contact form just now:
"It has been suggested to me that I contact you in relation to a painting I have completed, the giclée print proceeds from which I am donating in part to the campaign.
I'm not sure if it is altogether proper to do so but one suggestion was to sell it from the campaign site somehow.
If that is not appropriate I at least wanted to make the campaign aware of the painting.
I am still trying to decide how to handle the auction for the original as it will come with heavy eBay fees. I wanted to donate the entire profit from the original to the campaign, our PAC, Illinois Patriots PAC, and one or more other worthy independent projects. I am still open for suggestions on the matter if you have any.
Please feel free to contact me at any time if you so desire:

I'm sure the campaign is foccused on other things at the moment but just incase anyone was wondering they have not responded.
We got on http://www.topronpaulsites.com though! :D
:) ;) :D
We got two new auctions and they are for two different Ron Paul paintings.
One is by Sergio Paez, (Pixar/Lucasfilm Artist)
Another is by me, Ted Keylon (RonPaulPainting.com Admin).
Both auctions are listed on http://www.RonPaulPainting.com both donate to Paul!
I have the paper prices posted on the website for those who are interested:
