is most concerned about protecting our civil liberties?

I think it's John Edwards. Just curious to hear how others feel.

Truthfully, I don't care. They are all socialists, so couldn't care about our liberties. Socialism leads to more and more reduction in all liberties, always has and always will.

Right on Sandy. I would further add that the republicans are the exact same and will do just as much damage.

Kucinich would be the most likely since he wishes to get rid of the Patriot Act just like RP.

QFT. The only thing "conservative" left about the Neocons is that they oppose domestic spending. They would rather blow up foreigners overseas than repair bridges.

Agreed. He's generally good on privacy issues (even if his solutions are often more socialism).

Barbara Boxer is not bad on civil liberties, but she isn't running for President.

Boxer's anti-self-defense (2d Amendment), thus in my book very bad on civil liberties.

Any liberal (especially today) is against civil liberties. Liberty means being able to do whatever you choose as long as you are not interfering on the individual rights of others. Kucinich is the closest thing out of the Democratic party that I've heard of, but no where near true liberty.

Are you kidding me? She is rabidly (literally, foaming at the mouth) against the 2nd amendment. The loathes the fact that you and I can own a firearm.

Mike Gravel is the only Dem left with tendencies to "allow" personal freedoms.
