View Full Version : Need some financial support on projects in Georgia

Hello All,

My name is Cade Thacker and I run the Georgians For Liberty PAC.

In short, we have three (and many more really) major projects going on here in Georgia and could use some support ($10 is $10 more than we had). Georgia is NOT a winner take all, so this is a key state but is lost in the bunch of the Super Tuesday crowd. Help us get Dr. Paul's name out in the media by supporting these projects. Here is our mass email that went out.

Also, I just posted this same message over at the DailyPaul. FYI.

What an exciting weekend: 2nd in Nevada! Incredible! So it is time to harness that momentum here in Georgia and get the word out. Teams are currently canvassing neighborhoods throughout the state. Folks from South Carolina are even coming down to Georgia to lend a hand. In short, we are in a full sprint to Feb 5th, and need your continued help to get there!

Unlike other top-down campaigns, Dr. Paul's is nearly all ground-up! With so many other states holding a primary on Feb 5th, the campaign is stretched thin-as-a-rail trying to cover all these states. That is where we come in.
The Ron Paul campaign has always been powered by "We the People," and that level of support and enthusiasm is even more critical now!

Look at what we have accomplished so far this year:

a group marching in the Atlanta MLK parade
numerous sign waving events

And I'm just starting to scratch the top of the list....

But we still need your help!

There are multiple mass media efforts happening around Georgia and we need your financial help to make them happen!

1) Cable advertising Thank you very much! This past weekend, we raised a tremendous amount of money in a short time to put TV ads around Georgia!
Because of the tremendous support, we have upped the goal to $10,000 (and beyond ...?).

Draft copies of the two ads going into rotation this week may be viewed on YouTube at:

2) Beacon Magazines -- There is a set of three local newspapers in the North Fulton area (Roswell, Alpharetta, and Milton) which is a key Republican area. The free newspapers are mailed (i.e. NOT thrown in the driveway) every Thursday to almost 55,000 households. We have already run two quarter page ads on 1/17 and 1/24, and we have been offered the inside front cover, full page (10x10 inch) on 1/31, just days before the primary. Help us make this happen! We have raised $1700 of $4700 to cover this project. Help us push this over the top! This money needs to be raised by the end of this week!

3) Creative Loafing -- There is a double page ad going into the Creative Loafing. The ad has already been paid for, and is set for the 1/30 edition.
Mindi is looking for help to defer this cost:

Thank you to everybody!

Go Ron Paul!

Some folks were worried this is a scam. Don't worry, it is not...

We are working with our local meetups, but we are looking for help from a greater audience to raise money quicker. We have already raised and spent around $15,000 since Dec 1st(ish).

Hopefully this link should help prove I'm legit:
