Lets think about this for a few minutes.
We are a Revolution, like our American ancestors back in the Revolution. The Americans, fighting against a monarchy with little hope of success, receive an important ally in the French, a monarchy. With this ally, the Americans, who had no chance of success, become a contender. Fred Thompson is a member of the GOP establishment, like the French monarchy was part of the European establishment. If we wind up following the same course as the Revolution, we are currently in the darkest days after New York, after our early successes around Boston (i.e., the money bombs of Nov. 5th and Dec. 16th), but now we only need an ally. Fred Thompson could become that ally if we can prove ourselves. We can receive him as our ally if we merely show him we can win. We must win 5-10 states on Super Tuesday, and then it is possible that we can take Thompson as our ally, and then who knows?
