I work for a small business in my home town in Michigan and have the pleasure for bringing 3 of my coworkers to the r3VOLution. I was just talking with one of the converts who happens to be a sales rep and he just told me about a customer of ours who is in S.C.

The customer said that he voted for Fred in the primary but since he's dropped out, he's supporting Ron Paul (if he wins the nomination). He said the reason he didn't support RP from the start is because while he wants to end the war, he didn't feel Dr. Paul had a clear plan for withdraw.

I believe that if we nail down a clear plan, more fred supporters will come to our side.

what do you all think?

The actual withdrawal will be planned and executed by the professional, career military officers, who already should have such contingency plans on the shelf as part of their job.

Any voter who trusts the military to be professional should have no problem with any withdrawal in 2009-2010.

RP's position has always been a phased withdrawal to encourage the Iraqis to stand up for themselves.

They want us out and have said so themselves. We shouldn't listen to the talking head puppets put in power by the Bush admin.

Here they are in Congressional Testimony saying just what the Iraqi people want:

Ron Paul has said on more than one occasion that he will set the policy (withdraw from Iraq as quickly as is safe for our troops) but defer to the military to actually carry it out so they can do it in the best way possible. He has speculated that six months is realistic.
