McCain, Clinton Way Ahead in Arizona
Sen. John McCain and Sen. Hillary Clinton "hold double-digit leads among the state’s most reliable voters heading into Arizona’s presidential preference election," according to an Arizona State University/KAET-TV poll.
Among Republicans, McCain leads with 41% support, followed by Mitt Romney at just 18%.
Among Democrats, Clinton has 45% support, followed by Sen. Barack Obama at 24%.
Nonetheless, many voters remain undecided -- 19% among Republicans, and 21% among Democrats -- for Arizona’s Feb. 5 primary elections.
According to the ASU/KAET poll, the top reasons people plan to vote for McCain: his views and positions on issues; his experience and qualifications; his military background; his reputation as a straight talker; and his honesty and integrity. [edit, expect the RP ads to then trash Rudy on 9/11 :rolleyes:]
