Ok so I became a Precinct leader for my area.

I have the slim jims and other items to hand out.

From the forums, I have a good handle on what to do.

But here's my question...

In NY here... Only registered republicans, who were registered before Oct. 17th I believe, can vote in the states primary as it is a closed primary.

I have a list of 600 or so people in my precinct. Only about 200 are Republicans.

And they are the only one's who can vote for him right now anyway in this lovely, over taxed state called New York.

So...

Should I focus only on the republicans for now, since it is so close to Feb. 5th?

I can get the word out much better to 200 than 600, and possibly focus on another district as well. And if different things happen down the line ie: (3rd party run) re-widen my approach to include other voters later?

Any and all advice is welcomed!

Yes only concentrate on Republicans in NY for the primary. On the Precinct Leader page when you log in, you can also download the spreadsheet version and sort by Republicans. Format the pages to fit on a printout.

Yup, focusing on Republicans is definitely the best strategy.
