Ron's Books

Anybody who hasn't done so yet needs to start reading some of Ron's books. I have followed him for about 3 years and read/seen most of his columns and speeches, but his intellect is much greater than I had even imagined from just seeing those. I read his short "Mises and Austrian Economics: A Personal View" (http://www.mises.org/books/paulmises.pdf). Last night and was absolutely blown away. Mises has a lot of his stuff up there for free and I'm going to get to work on reading his stuff.

If your local public library does not have any of his books it might be worth a recommendation, especially if you mention on the recommendation that he is running for president so they will know that there is probably an interest. Libraries tend to buy books that people recommend, and it has been my impression that people who read the library books seem like the type who would vote.

I think the only one easy to purchase would be the newest one.

Well, I wouldn't call that "all" as you don't have the Ron Paul Money Book or the New Money Survival Guide, but I applaud your efforts.

Thanks for letting us know about these books. They are now listed in the library. The Money Book appears to be out of print, but it looks like you can still find copies of the Survival Guide on the Internet. We'll check and see if we can find a source to download these as free PDF's. Please let me know if you've got any more information on these or other books by Ron Paul.

The Money Book and the New Money Survival Handbook are both 335 pages long and both are published by Plantation Publishing in 1991.

Two names for the same book?

Neither are listed in the Library of Congress, but there is a book called the Money Book by Paul Erdman, 1984 -- obviously, not our man.

Does anyone know if there were actually two books published by Paul in 1991 (from a source other than Wikipedia :) )?

You're welcome. The books do not have nearly as much publisher information as most books do. All it does is list the copyright as Ron Paul & Associates, Inc. and the back mentions Plantation Publishing, whose address is 637 W. Plantation in Clute, TX 77531. I wish I had more info, but that's all.
