I live outside the US--a long way outside. China actually.

I've been sending money, clicking all the polls, and trying to convert my friends and family. What else can someone like me do to help?

I feel so left out :(

has your state had it's primary yet? Have you applied for an Absentee Ballot? Any other us citizens around you? Do they have absentee ballots?

Utah. No. I didn't know I could do that.

Good suggestion.

Also are you of any particular faith? If so are you a member of a Stateside chuch? You could possibly write a letter addressed to the congregation telling them how important you believe you think this election is and why you're supporting Ron Paul...Maybe one of your family members or minister/pastor/etc.. could read it to the congregation.

Well, how so? I ask because I'm interested. I think Asian culture is fascinating, and I would love to live in Asia. Is China the oppressive communist country we're told it is or what? I know Ron says they're becoming capitalistic, but I would like to know what's really going on there. Please make time to listen to those interviews, as well. Bookmark them or listen ASAP.

Do you need to register? If you already registered and someone you know lives at your old address I would just consider that your address with a temp overseas.

Are you registered as a Republican?

Heh. I'm a deviant Mormon. Let me think, maybe there's something I can do on the religion front.

Nope, I'm registered independent :/

Maybe I can get one of those keen blimps and fly it over Beijing. That should be good for a photo-op or two...

Start a Ron Paul group in China, other countries have them. Explain why he would be the best American President and how his policies would affect China.

Sounds seriously dangerous. Don't get yourself in trouble. If you have a video camera, though, you could do a piece showing the results of the PATRIOT Act-style curbs on freedom as demonstrated there and youtube it in support of Paul...

Be careful, though.

Hey HanglyMan--

Here's something that I'm a volunteer for and you can do entirely on your computer: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=98136

The guy who started this is very prompt with giving you info on how and what to do.

You could also become a precinct leader and mail literature that you've printed out that you think would be good for the Mormon vote, it's my understanding that there's something in the scripture about the Constitution. Or you could pick any precinct and do mailings there (it gives you a list of addresses.) See this forum for more info: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=254

Might be a bit expensive, but we can use any bit of help we can get. I'd say that if you consider doing this, pick a precinct that already has a leader and coordinate with him or her.

Other than that, make sure you vote in all the online polls and promote good articles about Paul online.

Hope that helps! Good luck.

Thanks for starting this thread. I've thought about this question some as an RP supporter in Taiwan, and other than catching the first flight out once RP becomes prez, I was running out of ideas as well :)
