Mr. Bartley -

so I'm going to be getting out of Law school in December. Really not sure what I want to do with my life, heh. I went to school to be an environmental attorney, but I really, really do not want to be a litigator, and regulatory jobs are either with the government (shoot me first) or impossible to come by (dead letter law, no need for new staff). So I'm thinking maybe real estate. I have a buddy out west in CA who does workouts for foreclosures and things ... maybe I could entice him to open up a shop out here.

I'm just curious, what your thoughts are on practicing law as a career, where you went and how you did it, and what your overall thoughts are. Personally, I wouldn't mind being a professional blogwarrior, but I don't imagine it pays very well and we'd like to start a family some time soon.
