"Do you love your country? Then why the hell do you support Romney?"

Tell him the story circa 1776 that involved some Patriots and some Loyalists. Ask him which he would rather be.

It would help to know why he likes Mitt.

Well, you could ask him if he's aware of how often Mitt Romney flip flops.

Find out what issues are important to the person you're trying to convert then go find holes in romney's policies, and voting record... there's alot of them, so it's easy :D

Is he pro 2nd amendment? Mitt was a closet gun grabber. That has worked for me. Also he debated with Ted Kennedy when running for senate(its on youtube) who was most liberal.

Well, that's the point. I don't want to do any of this. I started a thread so you would do all of my work and just bring me the results on the silver platter. :p

Also let him know how many times Paul's foresight has been proven right...like his past recession predictions, the length and problems with the Iraq war, the lead up to threatening Iran, the fall of the dollar, he's been fighting Bernanke, Fed Chairman, to stop inflation, etc...the list goes on and on.

Mitt lacks principles because he held some liberal positions to get his governorship, only to conveniently change them when running for the nomination. Although there has been a lot of talk about change, Mitt is the one which offers the least. He thinks he can "fix" the system, while keeping it more or less the same. Also, he may be able to hold together most of the Republican base if nominated, but he certainly could not win the general election because he has NO independent or centrist appeal (unless he conveniently shifts positions again). He also "likes mandates", as in, mandatory, big government intruding into people's lives.

Also send him this:

That should be everything.

Tell him that Ron Paul is better prepared than Romney to protect him from Global Jihadists!

Actually, call the 1-888-322-1414 this week. Ron Paul talks about his plan to fight terrorism, may be useful. I emailed some undecided neo-con friends of mine to call and listen.

Another thread suggests the feel, felt, found strategy.

I understand exactly how you feel. I felt a lot of admiration for Romney before I found out more about Ron Paul. Or I felt that Romney was the best candidate before I found that Ron Paul is the only candidate that is (insert Ron Paul platform here).

Also, I like to say that Id rather know 100% of Ron Paul's platform and disagree with 5% than to know 5% of another candidate's platform and disagree with the undisclosed 95% at a later date.

Remind him that Mitt Romney's so-called "economic experience" resulted in a job growth rate of +0.5%, which was 4.5% LESS than the national average.

Good if abortion is your make or break issue for a candidate. I don't think she cares about that though. I personally don't so I don't expect her to, either.

Tell him that Mitt Romney has no plan to get rid of the IRS....ask him if he has ever been audited...if he says yes, ask him "Do you want that to happen again?".

Ask him if he wants to continue seeing his taxpayer dollars being wasted in Iraq

Well, Abortion just happens to be the focus... but the point is... the man can't be trusted.

His political views change with the wind.

Despite Rmoney's attempts to paint himself as a private sector, political outsider, he is the son of a 3 term governor, has profiteered from his father's political connections, has held and discarded politically expedient positions, depending upon the office he was seeking, and claims the globo-socialist GHWB as one of his political role models. Rmoney is no conservative, and is certainly not an agent of change, but, if your friend thinks W is "awesome," Rmoney is probably his guy.

How about the fact that he now claims he will reduce taxes, even though when he was governor, he raised them.
