Dude, I'm from New Orleans, and it's all one big good'ol boy system down there.
This is why we need a big RP turnout for the delegates, and 50% at the Straw Poll (it'd be nice)...

I know Jay. He's as straight-arrow as it gets.

Yep. Seeing Romney's Nevada results, if Louisiana wants to win that Straw Poll there's going to have to be at least 4 Ron Paul voters for every Romney voter. You'll easily get 50% if the voter turnout ratio is 4 Ron Paul:1 Romney

Irrelevant rantings about Louisiana are a pain and an insult.

And New Orleans is not the whole state.

The question of the post was whether Jay Dardenne is honest. He is.

i've heard he's pretty honest, but i've never met the man. regardless, he hasn't been in office for too long, so that's a plus.

also, during his term, he signed off on the Libertarian Party being officially recognized with full ballot-access, etc. i consider that a very good sign.

Like I mentioned, I know him. Have seen him when he was in the State Senate. Met with him before his run for Secretary of State. About as close to a Boy Scout as you'll get in politics.
