This one is from Strategic Vision, while the last one was from Des Moines Register. Nonetheless, very encouraging.

5. Do you favor a withdrawal of all United States military from Iraq within the next six months? (Republicans Only)
Yes 54%
No 37%
Undecided 9%

This right here just means that we have alot of work to do. 54 % of the Republicans want out of Iraq, and who is the only Republican Candidate who wants that? Our only obstacle is getting the information out. If those 54% all knew who Ron Paul was and his values, then it would be a whole different story.

Very encouraging! Not the 2% but the answers to the rest of the questions:

5. Do you favor a withdrawal of all United States military from Iraq within the next six months? (Republicans Only)
Yes 54%
No 37%
Undecided 9%

4. Are you satisfied with the current field of announced Republican presidential candidates for 2008? (Republicans only)
Yes 29%
No 51%
Undecided 20%

This shows that once they hear Ron Paul's message, they will likely support him.

I would take a tape of Ron's House address from tonight and start playing it on late night low cost infomercial spots.
The one thing hindering Ron is that his ideas can not be explained in 30 or 60 seconds, or in a sound byte. But tonight's house address was brief enough to keep someone interested and packed with great stuff that will move the dems and non-neo-con republicans over to Ron's camp.

No is good. Because it gives RP time to spotlight himself.
Undecided 20% <--- Good!

The way I see it ............:D
Yes 54% = Ron Paul votes since RP is the only one who surports withdraw

No 37% = That vote will be split up with people voting for the other 9 Republicans running

:D

People are going to need to get out and do good old fashion grassroots work.

Hey!

Not only should Dr. Paul get the majority opposing the war, but we'll compete with the other nine for the one-third supporting the war-- but who still want someone consistently pro-life, anti-tax, pro-gun....

He could so win that state. People on the ground there should start spreading the word.

Even in this poll, Paul's still right in the middle of the second-tier candidates pack.

Tommy Thompson 7%
Mike Huckabee 3%
Sam Brownback 2%
Tom Tancredo 2%
Duncan Hunter 1%
Jim Gilmore 1%
Chuck Hagel 1%

The only thing this poll shows is that the frontrunners don't have a lot of support in Iowa.

Romney 20%
Giuliani 18%
McCain 16%

I believe it's just a matter of Paul getting a chance to tell (Republican) voters that he has been, is, and will be opposed to the war in Iraq, and that he favors a foreign policy of non-interventionism. He should make "blowback" his focal point.

Every time I read another one of these polls, the more I misstrust their accuracy.

They seem to be polling the same or very similar group each and every time.

The other good news is voter apathy. All those undecideds and dissatisfied will probably not go out and vote. If we can get them to see Ron Paul's message, great, if not, they can stay home. Ron Paul supporters will have a 70 or 80% turnout.

Yeah i noticed.. God i was wondering why peolpe thought it was "good news" that ron was polling 2%. But anyhow. he got almost 10% in the iowa straw poll back when he waspolling around 2-3%. Now that hes polling 7-8%, and probably more by the third, hopefully, look for him to garner maybe 18-20%, good enough for third place, maybe even 2nd depending on the #s for romney, or if huckabee crashes.

Strategicvision, ARG and Mason Dixon polls are not trustworthy. Well, most polls are worthless, but even more so with those three.
