Get Well cards for Thompson's mom

Hey guys, I've heard that maybe the reason Thompson dropped out is because his mom is ill. If that does seem to be the case maybe we should send her a get well soon card.

I haven't heard that was the reason for him dropping out, but what a loving son if that is the reason why!
Last I heard his mom was in the hospital.

Some of you make it sound like you'd sign the card "From a Ron Paul supporter". Nothing's wrong with a simple get well card...if it indicates a political position in any way, shape, or form...well....you're screwed up and need to learn how to write a get well card.

I agree. Fred Thompson certainly would have made a decent president, second to Ron Paul, and we ought to show our support to him at a hard time like this. This kind of encouragement can certainly help him feel like he's not a alone through this. Imagine if Ron Paul's wife was seriously ill.
