After IOWA what is the NEXT IMPORTANT straw poll. They are all important, but strategically, what i the next important one.
We all got off on a late start for the Iowa. Lets get ahead of the game for the NEXT one...
So, I am hearing TEXAS is the next big one.. But is NH a big one too?
please advise. I want to start creating some ideas and moving forward with them.

We need to get Ron to NH and get him to deliver some fiery speeches with the locals. He really should spend some green there, Live Free or Die, state. They hate helmets, taxes, regulation, etc. If he cannot draw a response there he will not anywhere. We need 50k primary votes or more, there. So rather than just straw polls we need to make NH aware of him somehow. He needs to help by showing up.

sounds like the campaign itself targeting the texas straw poll and already on the ball with that one in addition to some new hires in the state
We plan to begin communicating frequently with you and our other Texas campaign team to keep you informed of activities and important news as it occurs. To start off this process let me just briefly mention several items:
1. This week we sent out over 21,000 color Ron Paul Texas GOP straw poll mail cards to all of the people in the state who are qualified to attend and vote in the GOP straw poll. The mailer encourages Texas GOP voters to attend the straw poll and to cast their vote for Congressman Paul. A photo of Ron Paul and Ronald Reagan is included along with some key issue and biographical information on Ron Paul.

What exactly are the credentials necessary for voting in the Texas straw poll? Is it that you have to have been a registered Republican for more than a year in Texas or something?
