Anyone know of any events Dr. Paul is scheduled to attend in September or any big events he might be interested in? Im doing some of the ground work for what should an interesting event but I want to figure out what all will be going on in September before my associates contact Dr. Paul.

We've got the weekend of Sept 28 - 30. Putting the final nails in this week before HQ gives us their okay but it's gonna happen as far as we are concerned.

I can't wait. Our state coordinator has some big plans for this.

That's great news. I was almost getting a little worried that Ron Paul might not even be there, since the tickets are non-refundable.

Off this subject, but what is the significance of your name and avatar? Is he a hero of yours? Does it have a double meaning? Just curious, I don't care what you use.

Not to many people ask that question. The reason I have the name is as a reminder. Whenever I log in or post or just play a game of Zelda I see the name and it reminds me. It reminds me of the price of failure, and what happens when the masses give up their will to the government and the consequences of a foreign policy thats willing to deal with the devil itself to get rid of something. Eternal vigilance is very hard, I do this to make it a little bit easier.

^^

Exactly the answer I thought you'd give. My avatar is Napoleon from the animated movie version of Animal Farm. Not because he's my hero, but as a reminder of the evils of socialism/communism..

The exact clip is when Napoleon is pinning medals on the other pigs for being such good followers. At the same time he is morphing into a human likeness of the farmer, who all the animals had risen up against.

I like that, thanks.

Heh. I thought it was Biggie Smalls from that halloween episode of South Park last year. It's so small, you can't really tell.
