Anybody care to update the Grassroots Central in regards to the NH recount? Is it a go?

Republican Recount Begins At 9.30 a.m. Tuesday January 22nd 2008

Finally, the big day is almost upon us and what a long road we seem to have travelled in such a short time to get here!

The people have spoken, no, they have screamed for justice and this is what, we hope , they will get.

But we need more volunteers to observe and video the recount.

We must be 100% certain that this recount is carried out both fairly and in open public view. Without your help this cannot be guaranteed. With your help we can ensure that the recount is performed correctly or catch anybody not behaving properly in the act in a permanent record.

We are trying to organise accommodation and travel expenses for volunteers but in the absence of donations (we think that people are donating hard enough already to many good causes which is why we have not set up a donation fund) we are asking people in the New Hampshire if they can offer accommodation. We appreciate that this leaves volunteers with their travelling expenses to cover, but we trust that it will be worth it!

If you are planning on attending the recount, please let us know IMMEDIATELY as we must organise having you “sworn in” as a member of Albert Howard’s staff so as to guarantee you full and unfettered access to the process.

PLEASE DONATE TO BLACK BOX VOTING. Even if it's just $5 or $10. They need money to pay for rental cars, food, etc for their team in New Hampshire. They are 501(c)3 non-profit citizens group. They have pictures of the ballot boxes (showing tampering) on their web site.
