6. Ron Paul
Texas congressman Last Ranking: 8
He has $3 million, an extremely aggressive Internet base, and seems to be angling for an Ames surprise. A plugged-in GOPer (Patrick Ruffini) thinks he'll place second. On the other hand, Ruffini also thought Paul would raise twice what he raised last quarter. One wonders if all of us slightly overestimate his Internet prowess.

1-5 are Giuliani, Romney, Fred Thompson, McCain, and Brownback. Paul was 8th two weeks ago.

Of course, I think they're slightly *underestimating* the power of the internet, but the MSM are always the last to know things...

Here we go. More Old Media intentional overestimating...

The blowback will start shortly when the public starts to get the message that Ron Paul=winner and then act on it!

Tommy Thompson has camped out in Iowa, but he's not in the top five? Is Fred Thompson included? Why would that be, since he's not a candidate?

Yeah, but if you're sixth in the NJ rankings it's hard for people to say you don't have a shot, especially considering who the five ahead of you are. No clear frontrunner, as NJ had it two weeks ago when they refused to state a #1!

The only thing decided in this race is that nothing's been decided yet.

The text in those blocks is nothing short of hilarious.

This one doesn't think a loyal internet base is going to turn out to vote... I dunno about anyone else
but I voted when we got 2nd in the georgetown straw poll, and i'll vote in the primary too.
