Stewart may not be, but I've heard that several Daily Show writers are Libertarians. So Stewart, though he's clearly a liberal Democrat, has been exposed to and seems to be sympathetic with Libertarian ideas.

Hm don't know about that, I do think that Stewart can cut and see through all the crap and BS of politicians. I think he may have a weak spot for dr. Paul because Stewart knows he is not BSing, it's clear he's on his mind, this is the 2nd mention of him in an interview in one week.
Btw..it is a sad state for a country when a satire news show delivers news better than the actual media... :rolleyes:
