I am interested in a question to find out our demographics here on the forums, and in general in Paul's support. I think it is important we know where we stand, and what demographics we need to target more. Republicans have always gotten a problem with getting the black vote, so this is also important to know.

Sorry if your ethnic group was not included. These were the ethnicities I found on a general list online.

EDIT: I understand some of you are offended by me even asking about race. Although, I do agree that race is fabricated and after all, we are all from one race, the Human Race, politics makes a point of the divide. Race helps because it is a fact that certain issues are more important to some races than others because certain issues effect others more than others. I was reading the responses and your response was the first one to defend the thread. The answers are revealing but not surprising.

Most "white" Americans are ethnically clueless. And they expect everybody else to be just as clueless. Those who are not clueless or that have an ethnic (not a racial) identity or who raise ethnic (not racial) issues are deemed "collectivists", ignorant, etc., etc. The responses are often teeming with overt and/or covert anger and hostility.

It is that sort of clueless group thinking (collectivism) that gives libertarianism a bad name and that ends all rational discussion on the critical survival issue of ethnicity. It is a lack of knowledge and understanding of ethnicity among Americans that is proving fatal to the survival of the United States as a viable, independent and sovereign country.

That is why we are getting the North American Union. That is why we are losing our national sovereignty. Look at what we are doing with our sovereignty in Iraq and in Afghanistan and these are just the most recent examples of how we have violated other people's collective and individual sovereignty throughout our national history.

An understanding of ethnicity is necessary if we are to survive as a nation, as a people, as a country. From year one (1607, Jamestown) Americans have committed ethnicide (cultural genocide) at best and physical genocide and slavery at worst. And here we are 400 years later denying the reality of ethnicity. What we are really denying is the reality of our complicity in ethnicide. That explains the anger and the hostility to even the mention of ethnicity.

The cause of the anger and the hostility in all likelihood escapes the conscious knowledge of those who respond with anger to the very subject or mention of ethnicity. That is because it touches the very core of who they are (or who they think they are) because if they have no ethnicity (or think that they have no ethnicity) then they are, almost by definition, mentally and emotionally crippled and deficient human beings.

The fact of the matter is that being American is an ethnic attribute. There is no full blown American ethnicity as such. We are a very young country and our ethnicity is only beginning to form. The American ethnicity has an Anglo-Saxon core. It was Anglo-Saxons who founded this country.

Only those Americans with an Anglo-Saxon ancestral heritage (even if it is only one distant Anglo-Saxon ancestor out of dozens or hundreds of other ancestors) are the only Americans that can comfortably say that they have an American ethnicity. They inherited their American ethnicity as it were.

The rest of us struggle to become ethnically (culturally) American but if our skin color is not the "right" color or if our cultural and linguistic heritage is not the "right" heritage it is a losing struggle.

And all we can do, so it seems, is watch from the sidelines while our country slowly but surely dies an unnatural and premature death. And all for want of an understanding of ethnicity and because of our denial of our national collective complicity in ethnicide, first in theirs and now in ours.
