So what do sheep do? Follow? Go with the majority? Go with the flow? Follow the trend?

What if we started to do this. On every blog, movie, posting, vlog, W/E. We started to phrase our comments and responses as follows:

Instead of:
"Ron paul 2008! Hope for america!"
"Vote Ron paul!"
"Bring our troops home!"

We say something like sheep:
"I've been following the candidates closely, I was attracted to <fill in the blank>, but after hearing Ron paul I became a believer."

"You know I've heard a lot about this Ron paul guy and he seems to be the only one talking sense about anything... etc"

"Wow, I knew nothing about Ron paul, I just thought he was another one of those D-Bags, but man was I surprised to read this..."

You know what I mean? basically rendering our posts as if we are part of the majority switching to Ron paul.

I don't know, what do you all think? I did it today on youtube, it was fun!

Shilling for Ron Paul :)

It works im serious, I just checked my youtube account and some person messaged me and said, "I just started to watch RonPaul videos, was this same video you were interested in?"

Take it as the bad grammer, but w/e

Edit: think about it, its better than someone constantly reading, "Ron PAUL!! FREEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM" every 2 posts.

I would rather people wake the hell up and research and think for themselves but since that doesn't seem to be happening quickly enough, I would rather it be RP supporters mind controlling the sheeple than the neo-cons :p! We can wake them up later :D.

This is very effective. People are far more likely to be converted by someone they feel is closer to their own views. It's scientifically proven!

I heard a caller on C-span the other day who said he was leaning towards Ron Paul but he also liked Romney. He was very sincere and I thought it was much more effective than sounding like a "fringe RP supporter".

I have used this too, with success . . .

"Yeah, I used to support Huck (barf!) too, until I started reading up on Ron Paul . . ."

Yes, this is happening more than you think, I've done it before... everyone should do it a little bit :)

The downside is that its hard to tell when someone really *IS* a converted Ron Paul supporter

Not at all, you will know when they vote and money comes in :) Not something we really need to focus on, but if you think about it, it is WAY more effective for someone to read that, than the constant barrage of RP slogans and phrases.

If you watch the BBC series titled The Century of Self (which is free to view on google videos) you will see just how much the way you frame your message matters.

The series is long, but broken into four 1 hour segments. BUT it really touches the heart of what this thread is about.

I think the last segment details how Bill Clinton used this knowledge to win his second term.

Before you watch that video you should really view Freedom to Fascism (which is also free to watch on google videos) because after watching it you won't feel bad about what some of you are considering manipulation.

Ron Paul is the only candidate who actually understand the big picture. He appears in the documentary Freedom to Fascism.

I do reserve the right the push a few over though when it's all said and done. There are some sheep that deserve to be sacrificial lambs . Oh great...the sheep have turned me into the very thing I despise  I need a break :(.

I made a comment on this article about Romney http://embeds.blogs.foxnews.com/2008/01/21/romney-who-let-the-dogs-out/#comment-7560

January 21st, 2008 at 8:47 pm

I was supporting Romney 100% back in the spring/summer. After watching some of the debates I started hearing a candidate that I agreed with most of the time and I didn’t even know who he was. I found out he was a guy called Ron Paul and after reading about him and listening to him he has grown on me.

Ya know...It would probably work on talk radio shows too. If nothing else, such wavering would get you past the call screener...

I know how you feel. I felt like I couldn't vote Republican because of the Iraq war, but then I found that Ron Paul has opposed the Iraq war from the begining and was a leader opposing the invasion.

Just an example of the FEEL, FELT, FOUND method.

It is not lying, it is truth. We have all been there at one time or another, we just need to remember the beginning time when we found Ron Paul and write in this way. Great idea! People have stopped listening because we are so gung ho on Ron Paul, so this is a better way to communicate with others who don't quite get it yet.

I agree that you do have to talk to the person you're talking to, but many of them aren't "sheep." They're just busy with their lives in a lot of cases and stopped paying attention to things they understood they couldn't influence, like presidential politics. Those are the people who can be convinced to vote one more time. And it won't take much. That's why Paul is seen as a threat.

This threads been linked by the dorks at Wonkette.com

You know that site that claims we're all racist. Yet refers to us all as "Paultards", because making jokes about the mentally challenged is really cool and tolerant.

And also claim we're all nerds playing WOW all day. While that pimp daddy Jim Newill looks like Harry Potter and that super model Megan Carpentier resembles Miss Piggy.

For all the Wonkette clowns. Don't worry one day your site might be half as popular as Lewrockwell.com.

Go "blog", it's what all the cool kids do.
