all i've heard about him is he is a helluva guy (Mt. Climber, etc.) that lived up to his (or his states) term limiit pledge in spite of pleas for him to run again.

and he hates the federal drug war and stands up for states rights.

Gary "Veto" Johnson was governor of New Mexico from 1995 to 2003. Like Ron Paul, he is a drug-war skeptic.

From what I've heard, Gary Johnson is just as much a libertarian small government guy as Ron Paul, maybe more so.
