It goes back to the most basic question in this country: What is an American? Is it enough to be born in some geographical location to be called an American, or is it an ideal, a pioneering spirit, an inherent feeling that honors and defends our constitution as one of the most sacred documents ever, hard work and commitment for this country, and the heart to stand up and defend everyone's individual rights?

I have met a lot of people who have a false sense of pride and actually call themselves "American," but do absolutely nothing to contribute to this great country. They insult, belittle and look down at others from different backgrounds, cultures or ethnicities just to reassure themselves. They are arrogant, ignorant and a burden in society, yet they boast to be "an American." Meanwhile, not all immigrants live off the system and get a free lunch. They are doing the jobs that this so called "Americans" are not willing to do. There are a lot of misrepresentations, judgements, and over-generalizations out there.

Remember. this nation was created by immigrants, and not all of them were exemplary individuals, yet, a system was put in place to ensure a fair process to protect each person's right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

My personal opinion is that because one is born in this country, it doesn't automatically make him/her a great person who should feel superior to others. It is more about the spirit and the values that the Founding Fathers had that makes individuals great. So, just because someone was born here, it does not make him/her special. What one does to contribute to this great country is what gives a real sense of pride and fulfillment.

Ron Paul is our only hope.. Donate what you can for this great american and pioneer.. He is the Tomas Jefferson of our time.
