Our Boston Ron Paul 2008 Meetup has two major projects for the Feb. 5 primary that very much need financial support:

1. Full page ad in the Boston Globe
http://ronpaul.meetup.com/68/calendar/7090980/
and

2. A direct mailing to Republican and independent voters http://ronpaul.meetup.com/68/calendar/7090980/

Please spread the word on these important projects for Ron Paul in Massachusetts.

bump!

Massachusetts could be really big for us. Everyone is assuming Romney will take it, so there's almost no campaigning going on here. That vacuum is our chance for a second place finish! Let's do it people!

Living in Massachusetts, I see hgardly any Ron Paul yard signs. I've come across two, that's it. But, I think his message can attract a lot of people here since there's a good amount of intelligent people.

Buchanan did very well in Massachusetts. Paul will get some of those voters.

$110k is a serious amount of money. Are you making progress on it?

Is it winner take all??

No, it is a proportional state although a cndidate needs to get at least 15% to quality.....

Massachusettes needs big help. I was visiting dad for Christmas in Framingham (not far from Boston) for 10 days. The entire time I was there I only saw 1 Ron Paul sign. Hardly anybody knows a thing about him. THey only care about Romney and McCain (from what I noticed).

in talking to a lot of republicans I know in the area, including my family and some service people I am friends with, they totally are not into Ron Paul (my aunt called him a kook). I dont see mass as being very winnable as it is a closed primary (i think) and most of the more free thinking types are all registered Dems

Whereabouts? Here in Wilbraham (western part, near Springfield) I'm the only one with a sign. I do have some friends who support Ron, just none that want signs.

I just talked to a friend in Massachusetts who says she and her sister and all her sisters' friends are voting for Ron Paul. They're in their 40s and 50s.

I live in Norfolk County and I have not seen one yard sign for any candidate besides RP. I've seen 2 for him. A poll released a week ago had him at 2% which is a byproduct of everyone advertising through Boston TV to reach southern NH. We were bombarded with commercials in early January. So that helps McCain (endorsed by Boston Globe) and guys like Romney. It'll be touch to break 10% in Mass. but his message is attractive especially since it's a big anti-war state and very intelligent state.

Bumping for funds.

Need to win 15% to win delegates to the convention...Massachusetts has 43 delegates. That's the name of the game...If he doesn't do it it's over...
