I concur. :) I feel that posting our donations allows for a silent competition of, "Man, if so-and-so gave $100, surely I can find it in myself to do the same?" It's a way to encourage each other and say, "You are not alone for feeling this way about Ron Paul's candidacy." Sure, it's on the honor system, but it's fun, so why not? I have no problem believing someone made a $2300 donation - and if they didn't, then hopefully the guilt that broils in their dark little hearts will force them to go ahead and actually do it. :D

You are equally awesome mate! If people donate as much as they can, then they deserve equal credit. Not that they would want it. Ron Paul supporters are inherently humble. :)

It is good men like David Kim that help keep the good fight for freedom going on. Men like you that put your money where your mouth is are heroes.

I'm Canadian, so I can't formally donate (other than certain chip-ins).

And for those that criticize him...what in God's name is wrong with you? And I'm an atheist/agnostic at that!!

People have been posting their donations, large and small, for months.

Sometimes they "x" out the amount, sometimes they don't. I've done it both ways.

Either way is fine.

If someone can afford to give $2,300, thats great. If you can only afford to give $10, thats great too.

It takes both large donations and small to win!

BirdsAreWild, you could change the auction to a Buy-It-Now for the amount of money you require. More yard signs can be had for FREE from your nearest RP campaign office. For newspaper ad money try posting a ChipIn widget or contact your nearest Meetup Group for donations.

Nice one OP!

And remember guys that the total $50 and $100 donations x1000's of people are very meaningful too.

That is why having 10s of thousands of grassroots can hold their own against 1 or 2 big contributing companys to other candidates.
